This was very important to me since I needed my inspection done quickly because the closing on my new construction moved up and he was able to fit me into his schedule. Second, when Terry began his inspection, you could quickly tell he truly enjoyed the work he does. Even with my home being new construction, he found: 1) multiple possible places where water could come in (ripped or cut shingles and improperly installed roof flashing); 2) a cracked bathtub!!; 3) doors which were misaligned and not sealed correctly (which could possibly increase energy bills); 4) dirt which was too close to my wood frame (where termites could eventually enter in at!!!); and 5) a few other smaller issues. All of this on a new construction home!! But the biggest reason I recommend Terry is because he gave me the peace of mind to proceed with the closing. Overall, the builders did a good job, but they were rushed and he gave me leverage to bring these concerns to the builder to have them corrected.
