Out of the 3 of them, NONE of them could figure out how to use their own extension ladder's pulley system until I explained how it worked. They admitted 2 were trainees and the other was a fresh out of his own training. That trainer touched my ceiling and wall, leaving greasy handprints that he apologized for & said he would clean off another day, but never did, and it damaged our paint. They tested for ceiling moisture in every room by poking small holes in it instead of looking for the obvious water damage in the attic. He also said the roof was too steep for anyone to walk on, so the thinner trainee went up instead. He admitted he didn't know what he was looking for, so they just contacted an independent "tarp guy" to cover it. That guy came out the next day & immediately located the air vent directly above the leak which had sealant that was obviously decayed. He fixed it with no problem. That's what ServPro should have done. ServPro brought me a bunch of blank paperwork to sign on an iPad. I refused to sign off on accepting the inventory until they brought it in and told me what it was. The room is standard and had been drying for days, but they still brought enormous fans and a dehumidifier. I protested the cost and was told it WAS overkill to use industrial items in the house, but the insurance company would pay for it. I asked if it would work better to dry the attic, and they said that was a great idea they hadn't thought of. When I was given the form to sign off on us paying if the insurance didn't cover the equipment, I was again told not to worry since the insurance was paying. There was a page in the forms that asked if I wanted a safety data sheet about the equipment that was being left behind. I told him I did so I could keep our 4 cats safe, but he couldn't find one. I asked him what would be on the sheet, but he didn't know. All he could tell me was there was a data sheet on the chemical they use on mold, but that it didn't apply to us since it wasn't used. ServPro called & asked how my service was, & I was honest with Kevin about how the service was pointless. He apologized & that was the last I heard from them until I got a bill for $274.44! I asked for an invoice, and it was barebones. I saw a charge for the mold chemical that wasn't used. I emailed them with photos and legally-obtained audio recordings proving their tech acknowledged responsibility for damage to the ceiling. They promptly responded, "I will forward this to the office manager & have her take a look!" That was on June 2nd, 2021. The next contact that I had with them was 51 days later when we were notified that they were putting a lien on our home until the bill was paid in full. There was no discount for the damage they caused to our ceiling. The bill still included the charge for the anti-mold chemical that they hadn't used, but the absurd part is they wanted EVEN MORE MONEY this time! The actually ADDED a charge in the form of a late payment fee because we didn't pay them while waiting for their response to my email! That was my one & only experience with ServPro of Texarkana. The 3 technicians that came to our home were exceptionally nice & respectful, so I give them full credit for that. But I believe they weren't trained well enough to be on their own yet. I initially thought my problem was just the inexperienced crew of young guys that came out, but after I told them I thought I was being billed for a service that wasn't performed, and they never responded, I have no faith in this company at all. I will never do business with them again, & my advice to you would be to avoid the problems I've had by choosing to use another company from the start. There are MANY more complaints that I couldn't fit into this limited, 4,000 character review. -Zero Ehxe Reviews
