I do understand that some of the survey work would not have been on my property, but I drove through the neighborhood on an errand about halfway through the time they were billing for having been there and did not see them in my neighborhood. It is not plausible to me that more than 50 percent of the time they were billing for was time that they were working on my project and yet not in view of either my house or my neighborhood. When we questioned the times they were there at the time of billing, they could not specify what hours they were supposedly there. I actually think they undercharge by the hour and make up for it by padding the hours. The work was good but to me nothing makes up for shadiness in billing practices.
