However, I had a…read morerecent trip where my wife, toddler, and cat were going to be out of town for a length of time, so instead of gambling on a rideshare showing up on time, I booked my first car service with Comfort Drive. Suffice to say, I was extremely pleased with the experience. When leaving Jacksonville, the driver showed up 10 minutes early in a Chevy Suburban and secured my son's car seat while we were gathering our bags. Our trip to the airport was very smooth, and of course, we were dropped off right at the gate, which is very important when you have two large bags, two backpacks, a car seat, a stroller, and a cat carrier. For our trip home from the airport, our driver was early and waiting for us by the time we arrived for our luggage. Even better, there were two cold bottles of water waiting for us in the Suburban, which was wonderful on a 90+ degree day. She drove us home without incident. Both of our drivers were friendly and professional, and the price for an SUV was a better value than any of the other car services I could find. My online inquiry was answered quickly and included a price quote. Kent was there on time, even though our flight was half an hour late, with a clean car and professional attitude. It was our first time in the area and he was kind enough to answer all of our questions and give us some history and interesting facts. He was also gracious enough to make an unscheduled beverage stop so we could stock up on provisions. The return trip to the airport went just as smooth. Kent even took us through town so we could see the stadium and other sights.
