Before starting, they moved equipment and belongings out of the work area and carefully tarped around the house to capture as much debris as possible. We were not happy with Richmond Exteriors who handled replacement of our custom awning and I left a separate review for their workmanship and less than competent abilities. This review is for the Tag crew who replaced our windows in our home. As with most home improvement projects during the Pandemic everything cost more and shipments were delayed due to plant shut downs and limited employees. Before the final order was placed Tag scheduled Jacob, the installer, to confirm the final measurement of all windows prior to ordering. I was extremely grateful for this additional step since we had 3 different window sizes. On the scheduled window confirmation date we found out he had a death in the family and would be going out of town. Most would have cancelled our appointment, and understandably so, but Jacob did not. He arrived, handled business, and left town afterwards. The window order was placed quickly afterwards and we so appreciated Jacob going above and beyond. When the windows arrived Tag scheduled the installation date quickly. Jacob, and his team, arrived on time the day of and worked non-stop until done. They obviously knew what they were doing as the removal of the old windows and installing the new windows were completed by mid afternoon. We expected a day and a half process even though we were told one day. Things always happen that delays the process so I was being realistic. Not necessary with this window team. Window removal was done quickly, they respected the interior and exterior of our home and clean up was excellent. You'd never have known they were there except for the wonderful new windows afterwards. We love our new windows, how much quieter the house is and the amount of engery I'm sure we're currently saving. Just from the noticeable difference we've seen already, I'm sure there will be a positive financial savings. Do not hesitate to contact Tag Exteriors if you're in the market for windows, roofing or siding.
