It's like the foot massage you would get at the nail salon, but extended. As soon as we entered, I noticed the nice aroma of the spa. We took off our shoes and wore flip-flops and were directed to our room. We chose the hour long service which included a shoulder massage and a foot massage. Overall, I had a good experience. I would definitely go for another foot massage somewhere near my area.

This was the first time I've been to a spa so I wasn't sure what to expect. We arrived 15 mins early to our appointment - we did not have to wait long to get our room. We changed out of our clothes and got underneath the towel till our masseuses knocked and came in to start the massage. There was a language barrier as the masseuses spoke Mandarin and just a bit of English. We had to signal to apply less pressure as they were both applying a lot of pressure in the beginning of the massage. They also asked if we wanted oil for the massage. We had booked a one hour massage and I believe they ended right on time. For an hour I just focused on the music in the background and the gentle massage on my back, neck, legs, arms, and head. The spa was clean and a peaceful environment. Massages were reasonably priced and I was told the tip was split 50/50 between the masseuses. Note these are not RMTs though so they can't be claimed if you're looking to use insurance benefits from work. The spa is centred for massages only, so there are no additional amenities if you are looking for a place to lounge and relax around afterwards. We got our massage and promptly left after paying. I did feel more relaxed after the massage. It's a bit further out from where I am so not sure if I would go out of my way to visit. Would recommend if you're nearby!

I think the oil they use feels a bit too greasy (especially because they only wipe the oil from your back, not really from your legs/arms). For both of us, it was quite expensive with tax and tips (they ask for 15% tips and you can adjust based on your experience). The actual spa is quite nice, dark ambient lights, nice smells, and comfortable beds. They also gave us some jasmine honey tea at the end of the massage which was a nice touch.

Upon entrance, I was greeted by the receptionist and filled out my health history form. I was actually surprised that they directly bill to insurance companies since many places do not directly bill, unless if it is a clinic. After filling out my forms, I was greeted by Karli Rose, and she lead me to the treatment room. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated, giving me the relaxing feels like within a spa setting. Karli Rose did a thorough consult with me prior to the treatment. The massage itself was amazing. Karli Rose had the perfect medium-deep pressure during the massage. She allowed me to chit chat when I wanted, but also allowed me to be in my own silent space. I really enjoyed talking with her and getting to know her, especially since we had similar past experiences. Since this was my first appointment, I was able to receive the first-time price of $59.99. The receptionist mentioned the membership for future appointments, which I declined for now since I maxed out my benefits for the year, but have thought about it for next year when it resets. My masseuse Betty was very attentive to my needs. It's not meant to be a slow-paced, aromatherapy massage. She has quick hands and great technique to get to your tight spots. She warned me in advance that my back would be sore for a few days, so no surprises. They apply menthol cooling cream as well to help with relaxing your muscles. Also does a few stretching / twisting poses to help with the massage. The head massage portion was fantastic, and the weighted hot towel felt amazing at the end to relax my back.
