They have a wide variety of things for those people who are looking to raise their own feeder bugs. They also have a lot of cat and a bit of dog accessories, but no dogs or cats. There are exotic birds, a wide variety of fish, and snakes there. As well as Guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and rats. I own two guinea pigs from here and while they do house them in slightly small cages, for how many there are, the animals sell quickly and the cages are clean. For a pet store they are very good.

Upon arriving at the border I got told to pull over to secondary to have my vehicle searched by Canadian Customs agents. They found my orchid mantises, which I didn't declare, long story short after over 2 hours, I could enter Canada but my pets couldn't. When I went to US Customs, one of the agents told me of a local shop in Watertown, a mom and pop shop; that no guarantee but maybe they might take care of them for a couple of days? Once I got there, I told Pamela my situation, and she let kindly agreed to watch over them while I was in Canada for a few days. Once I returned, I picked them up, healthy as ever. I also bought some Cory Catfish, and some dubia roaches to feed my mantises. Thank you once again Pamela, bless your heart!

The animals are severely overpriced, as well as the supplies. I am a ball python keeper and breeder myself, and these snakes are not kept to the best of the owners abilities. Honestly, who still uses aspen for ball pythons? Come on! At least lower your prices if you aren't going to take proper care of your animals. Out here charging more than Petco. If you are wanting to buy a reptile, make sure you go to MorphMarket.com and search the species and morph, and check prices, more often than not you're paying way too much!!

I was honestly glad when other stores with pet supplies (Pet Supplies Plus, Runnings) opened in…read morethis area because this PetCo has gotten more and more disappointing over the years. The last few times I've been to this location, the store has been dirty. The floors are scuffed up, unpacked pallets of boxes are blocking paths, pet hair and dirt accumulate along the edges of displays and registers. The last time I used the bathroom, it was so dirty I ended up going to TJ Maxx next doors instead. It seems that this location is seriously understaffed so staff are not able to do the cleaning and stocking as needed. I've also seen and heard many concerning things passing by their dog training area. Just one example, one time a reactive GSD was set up next to the front doors (NOT in the little training area!) to be rewarded / corrected when other dogs enter and had to pass him. That's not okay. Someone shopping with their pet shouldn't be forced to be a training dummy where their pet might be attacked.

They do sell dogs, ferrets, and chinchillas as well. Feeder crickets and fish are well here, though the fish tend to be sold out often. However, the staff isn't exactly the most intelligent, and I recommend looking up animal care LONG before going, as with many animals they are kind of clueless. It's also very crowded on packed mall days as the store is tiny.

They also have good selection for dogs, cats, goats and horses. They have pretty good deals on 50 pound bags of dog food (around $19), which my dogs wil actually eat.
