In the past I have completed repairs on most of my appliances, however, at the age of 80, I now rely on other reliable repair people if I can find them. I got very lucky with Dion. Very personable, knowledgeable and fast. Dion had to make two repair trips because the replacement motor he brought on the first repair trip was a dud. He took in stride and said he would repair with another and that one worked. As a bonus, our ice maker started to work again and I thought it had a clogged line and would have to be replaced. So to close Dion did tell in advance before he began the price and it did not change. I would highly recommend Dion and if needed I would use his services again. read more

Last month our old but excellent Amana clothes washer started making "Bang of Death" noises from the worn gears in its transmission. I checked around and found excellent reviews for Dion and his A+ Appliance Service. He showed up the next day, checked the drive train and electronics, and told me that replacing all of the worn components and overhauling the transmission would cost about 1/3 the price of a new washer. He came when he said he would and rebuilt the insides of the washer. That was a month ago and the washer has worked and sounded like new since Dion fixed it. He was right on with his estimate. A+ Appliance Service is at the top of my go-to list for kitchen and laundry machine problems. read more

I've had multiple excellent experiences with Dion... prompt, reliable, highly recommended.

My Bosch dishwasher started leaking and gave an error. Dion was quickly able to diagnose the issue. Water valve needed to be replaced and after that, the dishwasher was able to run smoothly. Honest guy and would use again if I need any appliance help. read more

Dion is very professional and quickly took care of my issue immediately.

Deon arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, gave me a price, had the part and fixed my oven. No surprises. Great job Deon and A+ Appliance Service! read more

Dion came out to perform a Diagnostic for a washing machine. I paid him for the service call and went and purchased the part he recommended based on his diagnosis. I installed the part to manufacturer specs but it did not fix the issue that i paid to have diagnosed. I had to call another tech out to get the correct diagnosis. The money for the diagnostic ($65) + the part ($145) + The new tech ($40) = $250 wasted. Dion said via text he would contact the manufacturer but never contacted me back. Update: Dion Refunded the $65 read more

I continue to use A+ Appliance service for all my appliance problems. I have had two homes and have needed minor repairs. Dion was quick to respond to my calls and quick to fix my problems. He goes above and beyond on all service calls. I have used him for 5 years and will continue to do so. read more

Awesome personable and professional approach to Repair. Dion fixed a washing machine that the "other Aplus" competitor said needed to be replaced (after they charged us $125 for a bad assessment). Then he fixed our leak in the refrigerator and recalibrated our oven all in the same visit. We HIGHLY recommend this company. read more

Great communication and the men couldn't be nicer. Fast, friendly, efficient, reliable & reasonable. What more can you ask for? Thanks guys

This is the best company...I have used them on several occasions. He repaired my ice maker, dishwasher, and dryer.. He is very prompt, courteous and professional. read more

Dion came out and fixed my dishwasher in record time. He was courteous, professional and punctual. Cost was reasonable.

Our refrigerator quit working, and we feared we'd lose all our food. I called 10-15 appliance repair shops to see if we could get same day service, but the best we could get was a day or so until I finally called A+ . The person answering the phone was friendly and helpful, telling me she might have a technician nearby, who could come by and look at our refrigerator. About an hour later, Dion, the technician was at our home. He quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered a part, and told me he'd have the part delivered in about an hour. He went away, the part was delivered, Dion came back, installed the part, and our refrigerator and all our food was saved! Dion was friendly but very professional. The price of the repair was about what I was expecting, and not cheap, but even there I had a pleasant surprise, I got a 5% senior discount! read more

I had a very good experience with them. I believe the guy that came out name was Dion. He called me a few days prior to tell me they did not have the part and it should be in within 3 days. Exactly 3 days later the part was in and he was on his way. Fixed our oven promptly and the price was fair. I hope to not need them again, but if I do I will call them. read more

They are absolutely FABULOUS!! This is the kind of business you want to deal with!!!!!! Their customer service sets the tone for the entire experience, and is, A++++. From the moment I called concerned about my dishwasher until the moment Dion arrived I was well taken care of. Their pricing is fair as is the way they handle all aspects of their business. I consider myself extremely blessed to have found them for my parents needs and will ALWAYS now refer them to local friends/neighbors. Thank you all!!!! read more

I highly recommend Dion. Got his number from Yelp and gave him a call. He was able to come the same day to look at my dryer. He quickly diagnosed the issue, told me what caused it and gave me two options for repair. He was honest and recommended the the cheaper of the two options (replacing a module and fuse) but I elected the second option and had him replace the thermostat too. His number is saved in my phone and I'd definitely use him again. read more

I just had warranty service on my Electrolux french door bottom freezer refrigerator because the freezer drawer compartment was collecting a giant sheet of ice in the bottom. My service tech was "TOM" and he was simply the very best service tech I have EVER dealt with on any of my appliances. He was prompt, knew EXACTLY what the problem was, took the whole freezer compartment apart and cleared a plugged drain thoroughly. He then put the whole thing back together and explained everything to me. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and a consummate professional. He told me he had been in the fired for about 8 years and never misses a chance for factory training etc. I will BE RE commending A+ to everyone I know! Even if I did not have extended warranty coverage, I would still never hesitate to call this company and request TOM. SO SATISFIED! read more

Our freezer stopped circulating air when the evaporator fan stopped running. Dion quoted us quickly and was able to come out within a day. Dion not only fixed the issue quickly, he replaced a light bulb and offered some friendly tips about how our fridge/freezer operates. He was professional and friendly, would definitely recommend. read more

Our stand-alone freezer stopped working, so I decided to call A+ Appliance because of all the great reviews here on Yelp. So glad I did. You guys were right about Dion. He was right on time, texted me when he was on his way, and diagnosed the problem quickly. Plus, he's a very nice person, super polite and a great smile. He had help with him, a man named Derek who was also a pleasure to work with, super nice with a great smile too! As it turns out, the cost of the repair would've been more than buying a new one, so I opted for that route. But he did give me the name of an associate who would come and remove the freezer, which took another task off my plate. Very handy. If you need appliance repair, these are the people to call. read more

Dion is a great repairman. I had him come out on very short notice to repair a 14 year old Whirlpool gas range where the oven would not light. He ruled out the more simple and inexpensive potential issues, diagnosed the actual problem quickly (bad gas valve) and had the part in his truck to repair the range right then and there. In less than an hour I was "cooking with gas" again. I will call him again any time I need to have an appliance repaired. read more

Great job!!Dion did a great job of diagnosis of the problem and fixing it. He didn't inflate the problem it was a blocked inlet to the drain pump on my LG dishwasher. It great to find talent in the world that know what they are doing. Good job A+. read more

I gave 2 stars for the techs personable manner but I do not know how anyone can rate A+ Appliance Service with 5 stars. First off I broke my cardinal rule for hiring a repair person. I never select the ones that call their companies A, A+ or AAA. That being said I decided on A+ Appliance Service as they were local and I wanted to support local tradesmen. The tech,Dion (?), came to diagnose my LG dryer. I provided him with the diagnostic manual as he did not have one. I pulled it up on my Ipad. the quote came to $465, $175 of which was for labor. $175??? It would take about 15 minutes to change the control board. I could buy a new dryer for this price. Mine was only a year old. I said I would think about it. He called me back saying he wanted to take another look to be sure. Then he said the trouble was likely a failed motor, He provided me with another quote, $465 !!!. Surprised the quote was the same. Again I said I would think about it. I decided to take a look myself. A closer inspection of the motor showed a burnt wire. I added a new connector and connected the wire back to the motor. Has been working like a charm ever since. Cost to repair other than the $65 fee charged to initially look at it by A+ Appliance Repair was a few bucks for a box of wire connectors. On top of this the tech did not replace the screws correctly when he took the dryer apart and I had stripped one trying to remove it. He had not installed the stainless steel screws in the front where they belonged. To his credit he purchased replacement screws and delivered them to me. This wa the reason for the 2 stars. ** A note to other reviewers. Please do not inflate ratings as we rely on these to select tradesmen and we want to be sure we know what we are getting. read more

I was completely panicked that my smoking washing machine was going to burn my house down as well as cost me a fortune in buying a new one. I almost spent money I didn't have. Instead, I called Dion and he saved the day!! Not only did he respond in a timely manner and came out immediately, he was courteous, professional and did an incredible job! While he was at my home, he repaired my refrigerator, too. He took the time to do the job right and charged a fair and reasonable amount for the job. I highly recommend Dion and A+ Appliance. I highly recommend A+ Appliance! Dion was responsive and able to come out same day. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Dryer stopped working, found A+, sent email through yelp. Dion called within an hour and was clear that the issue could be one of 3 things. He was able to get out the same day. Dion went right to work, we chatted while he did the troubleshooting. He diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes and was able to fix the mother board while he was there! I would highly suggest A+ for anyone looking for appliance repair with an honest guy who is reasonably priced! read more

Great service and even gave me advice to clean my air ducts so my dryer will continue drying clothes. Had his face mask on and did his job.

I bought my loft in April with all my appliances about a year old. I unfortunately started having trouble with my Bosch dryer a little over 6 months later (of course after my home warranty expired). I tried all the recommendations on Bosch to no success and started looking at service places - one place wanted to charge me $500 just to come out and I figured if I'm paying that what does a new dryer cost?! But their are supply chain issues and I can if I could find a dryer it was a lot more than I wanted to spend but then I found A+ Appliance and they came out the next day! They cleaned out everything and found the problem (the pump was destroyed by the former owners 4 cats). Unfortunately they needed to order the pump and the following week was Thanksgiving so I knew I'd have to wait until after that BUT they were out first thing the following week with the new pump and had it fixed in less than 30 mins! The piece is now under warranty and all for much less than the $500 quoted just foe the visit from the other site I contacted. I would strongly recommend as fixing is cheaper especially with current supply chain issues. read more
