Tyres are very sensibly priced, guys are more than helpful and the speed they do things at is amazing to watch. I had a puncture own my VW T5 yesterday, raced back to Bude just before closing and there they were, happy to oblige and sorted out me a new tyre as well as checking my spare tyre over and noticing a tear in it. These guys are good - forget the rest.

I hit the tyre of my rental car on a granite kerb and it immediately deflated, so AA changed it and…read moretold me to go to this repair shop as they have a contract with Avis. I dealt with Steve who was exasperated that the "system" was not followed - apparently you need an Action Line or something- but that is for Avis, the AA and the repair shop to haggle about. He did not have the exact tyre needed in stock but ordered one and said to return the next day. When I did, the tyre was there but Avis had still not contacted HiQ which meant that they did not have the authorization to go ahead and put the tyre on. I had paid for full coverage and showed this to Steve who made several calls, and finally got the go-ahead. The tyre was put on in minutes and I was back on the road. Thank you, Steve! I know it was annoying, but really the renter has no clue about the "system" and I was told one thing by the AA and another by him. Avis were clueless when I called them so were no help.

Really surprised about the other reviews as having been to Kwik fit in Penzance over the last few…read moreweeks a number of times I can honestly say the service has been amazing each time. My daughters polo had a tyre issue due to corroded alloys and they were super helpful each time checking the tyre pressures,recommending an amazing place to have the alloys refurbished and tighten the wheel nuts afterwards plus rechecking the tyre pressures all for no charge. All i can think looking at the previous issues is that the Penzance branch is now well run by friendly and helpful staff who know what they are doing.

I took my car for an mot and told me that I have to pay 400 pound for the parts! 2 brake pads, a braket for my headlight, 2 windscreen wipers and apperantly the screenwash was broken (bear in mind there wasn't any in there). As you can probably imagine I was very shocked at this price considering the rude man dealing with me had a big smirk across his face as I started to get abit watery eyed, other members there team started laughing and walked out of the reception. Considering the price I then rung back up for his advice on where I could get a new headlamp unit bearing in mind they was charging 250 pound. I asked if he would know scrap yards? Or anywhere he could advise me... he laughed and said 'google it. and hung up. I took to the garage that normally does my tyres (don't know why I didnt go there in the first place) and they quoted me 90 and a new mot. I will never be returning here and dont advise anyone to go there, unless you want to pay alot and be ripped off. !!
