I specifically requested that the receptionist, Chloe, provide a rate sheet, ordinance, or police contract authorizing the exact charges listed on my receipt. Chloe appeared visibly irritated and stated that the individual I was requesting was not present and that she would not provide any documentation or information regarding the rates. I then calmly requested an email address for the owner or company representative so I could submit my request in writing. At that point, Chloe became verbally aggressive and unprofessional, raising her voice and making hostile remarks, including stating that "the police already told me about you," followed by profane language directed toward me. Chloe appeared visibly agitated, shaking, and yelling, and her behavior escalated to the point that I felt it was necessary to leave the premises to avoid further confrontation. Due to the verbal aggression and hostile conduct, I documented the incident with law enforcement. My visit was solely to request legally required documentation regarding a regulated, police-ordered tow, and I was met with hostility rather than assistance.

Todd and his wife showed up and told me they received a request from roadside assistance to take me to an after hours mechanic shop but he knew they were not open so he called around to different garages before he got to me to get me to someone that would be open. On the ride back into town, I received some helpful information from Todd and his wife about places to eat and hotel recommendations if I wasn't able to get back on the road. After dropping my car off at the local Pepboys, they took me to the place I had my family taken to by an Uber driver to get them of the bridge. All of this exceeded my expectations and it only got better. They gave me their business card and said if i needed a ride from the Walmart where they dropped me off, back to my car or a hotel, to give them a call and they would come by in their personal car to bring us to our destination. About an hour later, we took them up on their offer and she showed up within 10 minutes to take me and my family back to Pepboys. Don't interrupt and speak extra loudly and very aggressively to try and talk over them. And this dynamic happens multiple times? Then get upset, because the customer "supposedly" interrupted YOU. A (second instance) of a temper issue that made the owner's surrounding eye muscles quiver. Dont refer to a previous dynamic when it is NOT analogous to a current discussion. A long stare into a customers eyes at the end of a conversation doesn't show professionalism. It shows a strong need to "TRY" and control the client. If a client comes to you with an opinion about a potential problem don't wait (till after the client spends a lot of money) to test/ check a different area EXTREMELY close by and say "the problem is actually HERE" Check the areas around the potential problem FIRST and see if it mimics the client's issue. This is YOUR area of expertise. Even if the customer is adamant about the issue check elsewhere FIRST if you know it might be a LESS EXPENSIVE resolution. Integrity and the client comes FIRST. When you pick up a customer with your vehicle in VERY TIGHT quarters and you say "where's your mask!" that is a very absurd statement considering there is a mask mandate and YOU are the owner. Does the person sitting next to you have an issue with their immune system? Be cautious. Masks are mainly worn to protect others. Show that you care about your customers. 2nd time getting a ride when the owner did NOT wear a mask to help protect the customer.
