It was a tricky job because access to the tree was limited and the tree's branches stretched over two roofs, making it a real challenge for any size crane. I got several estimates from tree companies in Charlotte which were much more expensive and less sure about being able to do the job without damaging landscaping in my backyard. However Fisher assured me they could tackle the job with precision and at a reasonable price! And so the choice was easy. I went with Fisher and I am delighted to say that I did not sacrifice quality for affordability. Fisher efficiently and safely removed this gigantic behemoth of a tree. Currently, Fisher's is sitting out front of my house on the street making all kinds of noise cutting and chipping another neighbor's tree while I work on a project (I work from home). It's like Fisher's came and parked right in front of me to remind me that they never responded to my inquiry. Lack of response makes a customer feel quite insignificant. I try to be reasonable and courteous because that's how I like to be treated. I have no specific vendetta against the company, but this has been my experience with Fisher's. Let me tell you, my husband and I were mesmerized by watching this well orchestrated team. They worked so well together. Rene was up in the tree, working the ropes, saws, climbing higher and higher into the tree, cutting branches all the while connecting them to the rope and lowering down to the two crew members on the ground via the pulley he rigged up. They all moved so quickly and smoothly like a ballet. We honestly thought this was a great show, where is our popcorn. The trees came down so quickly and they cleaned up just as fast. We were very impressed with this crew and will definitely call them again. Overall, we could not have been more pleased with every person we spoke with or interacted with at Bartlett Tree Experts. We highly recommend their services. Vince was fantastic to talk to about our needs and he gave us some great ideas for future projects. I called Utility Tree Services in January for a quote on a tree. Kevin came out January 23, 2023,…read moreverbally quoted me a price of $3,400 and he left. I realized he never sent over the quote in writing. A few days ago (Saturday, March 4, 2023), I inquired about receiving the quote in writing, and Monday March 6 they sent me the quote via email. The quote was for $4,700 dated January 17, 2023. When speaking with the lady from the office on the phone on Monday, I let her know what Kevin quoted while he was there and let her know that it couldn't have been my quote because he surely didn't come out on January 17th, he came out on the 23rd. She proceeded to have an attitude with me and said she would have Kevin call me. I had Kevin's number from when he came out in January, so I called and he said he would be out same day (Monday). He never showed, no phone call. The office called me the next morning and the same lady told me that I was scheduled for that Thursday (March 9th) from 9-5. Kevin was a no show again. I can't tell you who to do business with, I can only share my experience.
