Good knowledge. Very courteous. Turned out to be a quick fix. Detailed explanation of the problem and what it would take to resolve it.

Porter was friendly and came to the house to fix our dryer. He did a great job and it was very affordable. Highly Recommended

I won't go back here. Bought a used washer and dryer. It was delivered dirty inside and out. The…read morewasher started leaking right after their 30 day warrantee. My biggest gripe though was there was a portable dishwasher that I wanted. I was told they were waiting for a part And would call me when it was ready and the cost was 130. Great deal! I waited 3 weeks no call. I call the repair man isn't in but will call me. 2 weeks later no call. I call and the part just came in they will put it in and call me in a couple days. I get my call the guy says its ready. I confirm the price of 130 plus tax so I can grab the cash. The guy says "oh hell no, this is a nice dishwasher it's gonna be 325". I explained that when I bought the w&d set I was told 130. I'm told well the owners not here if you want it you pay my price. I say can you have the owner call. Im told yea hell call but I will sell it before then for 325. I hung up and will never deal with this poor excuse of a business again.

It's unfortunate, but not necessarily a sign of a bad vendor. We've bought a few appliances used from Northgate, and while one did break down sooner than we would have liked, they were extremely helpful in helping us diagnose it over the phone, and offered us a reasonable discount on the parts, which I swapped in myself. Even more recently they gave us a very good deal on a rebuilt washer transmission, and threw in a replacement (used) agitator for free! You will probably pay more for replacement parts from Northgate than ordering online, but I think it's worth spending a little extra because of the good customer service we have received, and it's supporting a local business.

I have two tool boxes of Craftsman tools and since the store is closed the techs are fine but service department sucks for ordering the right parts.

My dryer is about 9 years old and just started to lightly squeak when running. Tech said it was just dirty and needed cleaned which I thought was great that it wasn't a major/expensive issue. After cleaning it he struggled putting the top back on and later that day I noticed it wasn't latched down in the front left corner. I pushed down on it to see if it would click in, I didn't push down hard at all and heard something fall down inside. I called and he came back later that day which was great. He saw the issue and tried fixing it but was really struggling and slamming it down trying to get it to latch. He then states that I broke the clamp and bent the frame. There is no way that I caused those issues. I thought it was very tacky to blame the customer, especially after he had just been pretty rough with it. He did look up replacement part for me which was nice of him so I didn't have to place another service appointment. Unfortunately the dryer now squeaks WAY worse than before and the top frame is bent. I'm not sure if the new latch will even work because of the bent frame. Hesitant calling for another service repair tech with how our outcomes were.
