We entered from the car park into a very large L shaped and very warm dining room. Even though there were several groups of diners we were fortunate in finding a table directly in front of the large fire place. We were impressed by the speed with which staff were attending to guests. There were several large groups as well as smaller groups do as you would expect the noise level was very high causing discomfort to our dining experience. The menu is extensive with more than smoke choices catering for all tastes including an interesting range on offer for children. All staff were most attentive and were very friendly. Their efficiency was commendable. Our meals were only lunch items including children's serves of spaghetti Bolognaise, Chicken BLT and flathead and salad all arrived very quickly , so quickly in fact that there were great complaints from the 2 children who were wanting to spend more time on the internal playground equipment. This hotel can certainly be recommended as a great family venue.
