Last Christmas I got two kids pressies for £5 each that were retailing in the shops for £30, and I even got a free game with each one. Parents of recipients thought I had gone crazy or come into money. lol. The best bit is all the sweets on the end Isle, they have boxes and boxes of stuff usually 10 for £1. It does differ each time you go in, on rare occasion I didnt think it was as great as the last, but thats the beauty of it, if you time it right when they have a load of stock that you like you will be quids in. Beware parents, they dont allow children in??? dont know why.. Or big bags, for obvious reasons.. If you liked Tradex (that was) you will like this 10 times better, minus the clothes. You have to be quick sometimes if you want something though as they sell out quickly. Their food selection is great! They even have a butchery and fishmongers department so you can buy things fresh. Sometimes things are dearer than you can buy in high street shops so it's worth knowing the prices of things you want before going there. They even have a restaurant where you can sit down and have a cuppa or a meal, so well worth a trip out!

They are not strictly vegetarian and stock a nice range of organic/free range meat, as well as fresh veg and the usual meat/dairy/gluten free produce. They also have essential oils and skincare ranges. Some of the prices are a little steep, but you don't mind so much when you know where your food has come from!

We ended the night here; by the time we arrived it was already teeming with people. Overcrowded, dark and musty, full of wall to wall aftershave, bad decisions and a near miss with the cloakroom (I finally retrieved my coat after an hour of confusion), on the surface it reads like a failure. Instead the sardine tin atmosphere, the soundtrack and the cheap house alcohol provided us with the perfect base point from which we were able to carry out our fully fledged twattery. The boys were worse than the girls (aren't they always?) and our lot were worse than the rest. Downstairs was playing a selection of fantastic Motown hits; upstairs we were treated to 21st Century indie and bad decor reminiscent of Tony Montana, replete with plastic yukka. I walked out in error once trying to find the cloakroom downstairs; colleagues were thrown out for urinating where they shouldn't have. We would have 'Put Our Hands Up for Detroit' if we were able. Instead we had to make do with 'Getting Down' when James Brown told us. So much awkward shuffling on display but also so much fun, it comes thoroughly recommended.

They also offer up and coming designers, which does tend to be a little more than the vintage offerings, but at least you'll be unique. Their Cheap Monday denim is also cheaper than Urban Outfitters at £28! They did a student event last month with 10% off, red bull and goody bags, so heres hoping they do some more!

The clothes are really cheap and there's a huge range but I always feel really dirty (figuratively…read morespeaking) on the few occasions I enter this store and quickly leave empty-handed. Why? Its horrible reputation of using sweat shops to mass produce its cheap 'n' not-so-cheerful clothing. Sure, I have no idea that stores selling more expensive clothing are trading ethically - but I DO know that this brand thrives on exploitation so I try to avoid it. The store is always so overcrowded anyway on weekends. Personally I don't see the attraction of a throw-away society where nothing is sustainable and things fall apart after a few wears. Sure it's cheap - but does that justify the products - and how they're made?
