Teamwork is a beautiful thing I met very nice helpful employees that I could befriend if I lived closer or if they were interested in following my husky's Facebook feed. I got a good deal and didn't feel ripped off on the value one bit and that says a lot because I'm a value shopper. I'll gladly pay more for a better product especially if I feel like I can come back for help and parts for my mods or more juice. Loved my pit stop. I love that the Dollar Tree has some decent quality stuff. They've got glass vases and jars and tons of kitchen and organization items that cost more at other stores. They also rotate tons of stuff depending on the season and holidays so you will always find things you need for occasions. The party section is great because you can always find gift bags and disposable party plates and trays. I always love coming here. As with any other cheap items, you have to figure out what works for you quality-wise. And if you see something you think you need- get it! Because they might not carry it next season.

Also, the workers are super friendly! Even recently, I asked the manager if he would help us out with our gender reveal. We are having our first baby this summer and wanted to he surprised at our party by what the gender is. Thus we brought in a piñata and an envelope from the sonogram and the manager used the candy we bought from the store along with either a pink or blue streamer depending on what the gender is. They even taped up the opening of our piñata to help protect it so we wouldn't easily see it accidentally. They were super helpful!! :)

Even their regular prices are not bad at all. I stopped in to this location for the first time and it did not disappoint! They had art work 50%, great Easter decorations and great garden stuff. Also, 70% off selection shampoo, conditioner and other beauty products. Some were $1.50, $1.20 and one was .45!!! My daughter had me buy some for her. You cannot pass up a deal like that. The staff here were super friendly. The manager was so kind and polite. I bought 2 great planters for my front porch. I will share the photo after I plant flowers in them. This location is one of my favorites now. Of course I will return here!!!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review of our "new" grocery store. We've been…read moreshopping here since November 2011, when we relocated to Caldwell from Bryan TX. I love this grocery store! I really really thought I wouldn't given that it's smaller than any HEB, and it's located in rural Texas, which, quite frankly usually means fewer organic selections and dubious cleanliness. I couldn't have been more wrong! The organic produce selection is surprisingly good, as are the "weird" brands we'd become accustomed to at Village Foods. We've found everything from our favorite tomato paste in a tube, to choice and prime beef, which you can't find even at HEB. The store is clean and the staff is moderately helpful. They were running a really cool promo where you'd save stickers with every purchase and get Lock N Lock plastic storage containers with completed sheets, but that expired last month. I hope they run another one soon; we got some great stuff! Given our other options here in Caldwell (zero), I feel like we lucked out here, and it's pretty awesome not to have to drive half an hour for a great selection of products.

This particular Michaels was in disarray with carts full of product sitting in multiple aisles. I only saw one employee. Usually there are more and are available if you need assistance. The saddest part for me personally was the only available checkouts were self checkouts. Of course mine was the one that didn't work and No one was there to assist. This is unacceptable. This is not a reflection on all Michael's locations, for me it only applies to this one. They can do better especially in a busy college town.
