this radio station has definatley seen better times.when growing up in joliet you tuned to 1340 for…read moreall your latest info. they actually had reporters going out and getting the news wether it be police, fire stations and getting the news first hand. not sitting in a comfy studio looking at computer, television or listening to other radio stations. this current director is always slamming how wjol was in the past playing all the old folk music that is a low blow to the station as if it was not for those times he would not have job. and this guy is always right nobody ever disagrees with him. i think the entire staff needs a cleaning out. and this new company should try different format and play a little music bring back obits and also barge traffic. toooo much sports talk with these people. hey maybe espn is hiring.
