I was bored. From the reviews of local public broadcasting stations I see people enjoy the programming. Maybe I miss something when I tune in to listen. I'm giving it three stars because it gets the job done with clear transmission and the shows are always on time.

I had the opportunity to meet Hank Williams a few months before he secured his first $2 million in…read morefunding for Click Radio and acquired office space for the venture in 1999. Around August 1998, several of my former business associates met with him at my former office located at 145 West 45th Street in New York City. During that meeting, we exchanged ideas about the future of the music industry and discussed strategies for introducing independent record labels to the emerging process of converting vinyl recordings into what would later become widely known as MP3 digital files. The conversation was groundbreaking for its time, and Mr. Williams was open-minded enough to offer us the opportunity to help spearhead a dance music channel on the Click Radio software platform called "Play DJ." That experience made me realize I needed to deepen my understanding of startup development and venture growth. Shortly afterward, my former business colleague Reggie Laroach and I enrolled in a nine-week continuing studies course at Stanford University titled "Bus 16: Startups - From Idea to IPO". The experience became a defining moment in my entrepreneurial journey. You can read more about that chapter of my life here: [Byron Burke at Stanford: Hustle, Survival & Startup Vision](https://rudetymz.com/news/f/byron-burke-at-stanford-hustle-survival-startup-vision) Click Radio helped pave the way for major record companies to begin converting their music catalogs into digital formats, contributing to a major shift in how music would eventually be distributed worldwide. It was inspiring to witness a young Black entrepreneur take a visionary idea and successfully raise more than $40 million to bring that vision to life. At the same time, it was difficult to later witness that dream unravel due to corporate politics, greed, and the absence of a strong support structure focused on protecting his long-term interests.

As long as I can remember there has been Public Television. Whatever State in the U.S. I lived in I…read morealways found excellent educational programs on my TV. These programs educated me as well as my class in the days I taught Head Start. Educational Supplies were not always available but children watched TV at home. I tried to steer families in the direction of beneficial programs. Now flash forward. I'm living on retirement funds that are not allowing me the luxury of hundreds of cable channels. I signed up for our NYC public television emails. WNET Channel 13. There's such a variety of excellent shows on. I've done some screenshots from my emails of the current shows on in October. I can't say enough about this Network and the benefits of public broadcasting. I wish I could afford to donate. I also wish I wouldn't fall asleep during the shows. Oh well! I highly recommend you tune in. Look up the network in your area. Let's all support public television and put the cable and Internet TV out of business. Or at least give them serious competition and drive their prices down. The haves can pay and the have nots remain in the dark.......

PBS just recently ran the Metallica S & M 2 concert with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra which…read moreimpressed The F'k Outta Me to the point of writing this Review. I've always been a fan of their broadcasting especially the arts and entertainment stuff they've always provided throughout the years. I will say that I used to be a member and always donated to the cause but admittedly a few years back they did lose Me. This latest move however shows that PBS has grown a set of balls and is willing to take risks which are in My opinion worth while. Consider Me back on board; go online thirteen.org or call 1.800.468.9913 This concert which was originally filmed in 2019 was supposed to be released to indoor IMAX theaters and like everything else it took a back seat to Covid. In August it was released to pop up outdoor drive in theaters where each car was charged a fee for access. This type of venue did not do this show any justice and it was not appreciated by anyone but true hardcore Metallica fans. Much like the first S & M offering it is an incredible melding of two entirely different styles of music but somehow it works and in a Huge Killer way. I got a text the night of the PBS show from My fellow Music Lover and Yelp Sister Mercedes C. who told Me about it, and again the following morning She said "Man that Shiit was Fire"!! and I couldn't have said it any better Myself. Come And Get Your Music Munch On!!

The conversation was almost impossible to salvage because of the gain issue. Also, there were constant interjections of "macbook sounds" throughout the file that was sent to us, such as popping, swooshing, and various other noises that come from deleting files. I hate to write this review as they were very easy to work with in regards to ironing out the logistics of the date and time. Unfortunately, we trusted them with our podcast, and it was ruined by Calvin the engineer. Absolutely infuriating.
