In the Bay Area, you can switch between two "iHeart" stations- 99.7 and STAR 101.3 and hear the same selection of Katy Perry, Lady GaGa&Taylor Swift songs. If you've heard it before, you'll hear it again. No wonder I'd rather listen to Native American music, the Grateful Dead&world music at http://kpfa.org while http://www.993thevine.com/ keeps people updated on local events, has a local music hour that ranges from folk/country to Celtic. iHeart media makes music that's OK for ambience.... like driving&working, but it doesn't hold your attention.

That iHeart media team was nothing short of kind and welcoming. They have a really dope facility and provided us with some hor devours and drinks. There was plenty of parking and I really enjoyed how some of the leaders of the organization walked around the room and introduced themselves while sharing some of the cool things that they do to promote and support our city!

No…read morewonder they put this on the AM radio band, nobody wants to listen to this in high fidelity, because it seems like they're screaming at you the entire time. The ads seems like more screaming. Aren't you supposed to be calmed and relaxed by religion? Another plus is it does not carry secular advertisers, and has a special time set aside for gospel music and another special time set aside for family and God friendly comedy!
