If large and upscale clubs aren't your thing, you'll probably have a good time here. This place…read moreseems to cater to a mostly local crowd. Moog is small, literally underground, and the electronic music you'll find here is genuine. Not the commercial nonsense typical of a big, touristy venue. Bring earplugs or cotton for your, the bass is heavy. Some of the best dance nights out I've had have been in tiny spots like Moog. It's dark as he'll on the dance floor too. I subtracted 1 star for the smoke machine. That stuff is not needed and it's a little irritating to the senses. Other than that, I am a fan of this spot. We found it by accident and I'm glad we did!

Great nights are to be had here! If you are looking for an unpretentious spot to hear some slamming…read moreminimal techno, no cheesy techno crap here, this is your place. Locals and tourists alike flock to get down to the international acts in this underground establishment. Upon walking up to the place on an undisclosed Barcelona narrow street I was greeted with echos of bass in the distance. Good vibes all around and the usual with these events, drinks and substances flowing like water, the locals buying out the bar, out-of-towners here to get down until the morning, local knuckle heads looking for a fun night, bouncers keeping everything in check, and folks flexing some night moves. If you are looking for a loud, bass heavy night of underground/worldwide music, make the off the beaten path treck here and enjoy a long night and see what Barcelona has to offer!

Of course I couldn't get my jacket bc my claim ticket was in my wallet. However, I had a photocopy of my passport in my jacket and it was in clear sight, but the smug coat check boy refused to look at in and insisted i stay until close at 6am. Somebody else, possibly a manager, came to seemingly help but the coat check guy continued to be unhelpful and seemed to be taking pleasure in my frustration. Finally after I waited several hours, my jacket was returned to me, and I as a left a guy runs up to me and says "you forgot your wallet." Of course it had all the cash missing. Both times I went to this club on my trip it was mostly empty. The first time I didn't mind because I was with a friend and the two of us enjoyed dancing without the club being packed. However, after the way this situation was handled, it would be challenging to go back. Pickpockets are everywhere but it certainly doesn't make me feel safe. Mostly though, no staff in the hospitality industry should take so much pleasure in being so unhelpful, particularly when a frustrating situation is clearly ruining a guests night.

To start off, my boyfriend and I were pickpocketed in the club and we lost our phones and wallet…read more THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!! I highly recommend you DONT go. In addition, the cover fee was 10 euros. This place should receive 0 stars due to the terrible establishment and service. If the locals recommend it, it's because they want to rob you. WOW WOW WOW I WILL NEVER FORGET MY EXPERIENCE HERE!…read more I first came across Chupitos when I was studying abroad back in 2012. The bar is well-known across Europe and even has a few of them open in other countries like France for you to visit. It is a shot bar with over 600 different shots (but there are also a few "experiences" you can buy here). The shots are very cheap at 2€ each and on Monday nights they're half off, so only 1€ to start some fun! The bar is very fun and even if you only came with one person, the tight space and the close atmosphere makes it easy for you to make friends... especially when someone near you orders an exciting drink! My favorite shots include: - Harry Potter - Girl Scout - Monica Lewinsky - Macarro - and so many more that I really cannot remember... I will admit that this is definitely a place where you'll find many students and young folks and that most people will start their pregame at this bar, but it is definitely worth the trip and certainly a memorable one. If you're ever in the area and are looking for a good time, head on in here. But beware... you're in for the wildest night of your life! (8/100--2019)

We ordered the Harry Potter, Boy Scout and I forget the last drink it was topped with whipped cream and lit on flame it tasted amazing. Great price too for 2.50 euro each!

Our bartender was very generous with the portions of alcohol lol! The DJ played a variety of salsa and bachata music. We had a great time watching all of the seasoned salsa dancers -- they are so very talented!

Our tattoo artist recommended Antilla on Wednesday nights because that's 'Salsa night'. We went the next day but we could not keep up! Information You Should Know: - Yes, Wednesday nights are Salsa nights. Maybe a little Bachata. - It was free to get in but there's a catch... you're given a beverage ticket requiring you to purchase a drink at the bar and ONLY then can you leave. So, you get a piece of paper at the door, hand it to the bartender, pay for your drink, and get new piece of paper allowing you to leave whenever you want. I honestly love this concept! You get something in return instead of just paying a cover like you do in the US. - So You Think You Can Dance? I thought I could but once I saw the level of skill on the dance floor I moved and stayed sipping my Gin and Tonic. It was very intimidating! But it was a lot of fun watching others effortlessly dance all around. - Friendly towards tourists- We were a group of 4 and clearly not locals but we felt so comfortable being here! No one looked at us differently or treated us any differently. Overall, if you are a good dancer then you will love this place. If you're a beginner like me then maybe not so much. Hope this review helps!
