My neighbors are friendly, management - Vonny and her team are amazing and the location is prime real estate - close to everything including the beach. The property is quiet which is ideal for adult/retiree living. Amenities include a beautiful pool (although always cold), BBQ grill, laundry room, a great room with games, ping pong table, exercise equipment, weights, sofa and chairs for lounging. The complex is well-kept and managed - Vonny does an excellent job. The Al and the maintenance team are attentive and provide a speedy response and repair to any maintenance and/or repairs. To "help" them engage, I have officially filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the California Attorney General. I am currently finalizing a formal Demand Letter and am fully prepared to pursue this in Small Claims Court to recover my funds plus the statutory bad-faith damages permitted under California law. (Orginal comment, 3/11/26) I had a generally okay experience living here as I managed to survive multi-day water shortages, intermittent internet, paper-thin walls, and appliances that belong in a museum. However, the real "gotcha" moment arrived at move-out after Feb 28. Despite leaving my apartment in legit condition ('mob clean') and having a pre-move-out inspection where zero issues were noted in writing and the condition was acknowledged as "normal", management still deducted heavy fees for unit cleaning, carpet cleaning, and painting. Moreover, under California law, landlords must provide itemized receipts for deductions over $125 within 21 days. Instead, I received only "estimates," a loophole only allowed if work cannot be completed in time. Yet, the unit was listed as "available" by March 11. If the work did happen, where are the receipts? If it didn't, why the deduction? If you move here, document every square inch and be prepared to fight for your deposit back. I'm currently disputing these unjustified charges.

Additionally, she promptly addressed any issues reported within the first week. The property is impeccably clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The property includes covered car parking. However, a couple of drawbacks are the absence of charging points in the apartment's garage, which prevents me from charging my electric vehicle, and the lack of dumbbells in the gym area. These were clearly communicated by Marylou during the site visit. However, it would be greatly appreciated if these amenities could be added in the future. Its part of one of the best school district in LA and a family friendly neighborhood. Its close to various eatery joints and super markets-(Costco, Walmart, VONS, Ralphs) within short driving distance.

There is no doorman, package room, pool, roof-deck, gym or any other convenience that one can usually find standard in a similar type of rental community in the Hermosa/Redondo Beach area. Azure's management company, Pan American, is a master of the "bait and switch" sales tactic in which they'll lure you in with rental concessions and then increase your rental rates as soon as your initial lease expires. Their rates are inflated for the market, which is why there are units sitting vacant with little interest from prospective tenants. The rent for my unit increased 12% year-over-year when you factor in the initial rent concession to bait us to move in and the property management company tried to claim that increased rental rates for the renewal are aligned with the local market. If that were true, there wouldn't be vacant units in the building with such high turnover. I offered to keep my rent flat in order to renew my lease, which is still 9% higher than my effective rent during the initial lease and they rejected the proposal. They would rather lose money offering a rental concession to new tenants than keep an existing tenant at full-price. Pan American's corporate greed and senseless business practices are unethical and tacky. Do yourself a favor and pass on this property!

When she was out, Sandy would sometimes be there to take over and she is wonderful too. You hear light traffic noise during rush hour (mine was courtyard facing) and emergency sirens often because it is a major route to company of Mary on Torrance Blvd. I have so many good memories and basically spent my entire 20's here. Every complex has its pros and cons, and maybe because this was my first apartment I am biased. Moonraker was so good to me and I am grateful to have lived there for as long as I did.

We had one parking spot for us with more storage in the parking spot. Downside of this apartment is that they are not double paned windows so dust and noise are inevitable. You hear everything. Walls are very thin. We were on the first floor and we could hear everything. There are two rooms of laundry and uses Bluetooth for payment which was amazing. However, only a few work. I believe the residents have reported it several times but no action was done. The residents of the complex were mostly couples and single residents. Only a few people had families. With that said, I think this apartment complex is more appropriate for couples and singles who are looking for a more quiet and intimate space. I wouldn't say this place is family friendly.

BEWARE!!!!! ZERO SECURITY AND THEFT! I have a bicycle that…read morejust got stolen from the parking lot and there are no cameras or security of any kind. The whole place is gated, and my bike is not visible to anyone outside the complex, so it must mean that someone in the complex stole it. They cut my lock off and took my bike. The landlady doesn't care because she just puts signs saying she is not responsible and won't put up security cameras. She said whatever happens is your responsibility. I have lived in about 10 apartments in my lifetime and I have NEVER experienced anything like this before. My bike wasn't even worth that much so it really shows what type of low life people live here that would just steal their neighbors bike to sell. And having the landlady onsite living here is worthless since she won't do anything. This place is the most insecure place I've ever lived. Also, it's winter now and the windows are so thin, you can hear all the traffic and fire trucks pass every night. And the temperature in the apartment is just as cold as the temperature outside because there is zero insulation. This is the worst place I've ever lived and cost too much for the location. The laundry card machine is constantly broken so you can't do your laundry unless you put $100+ in your card assuming you want to live at this dump for that long because you won't get that money back if you don't use it all.
