Have you ever seen a fresh baguette at a checkout in a gas station convenience store? Here you can get one! Its only 1 Euro and pretty darn good!
This is a pretty cool gas station. My sister and I were driving from Paris to Italy and stopped to get gas here. We were pretty shocked by this station. It has a bakery inside, a few little restaurants, restrooms, a play area for kids and a convenience store. We got a coffee at the café, then went to the convenience store. By the way, this is the coolest convenience store! They have everything a regular gas station store would have but then so much more!
We ended up getting some cheese, prosciutto, a baguette, Evian and some carbonara potato chips. Pretty much everything we needed to make some sandwiches in the car. It was great. The bread was fresh baked and I had no reservations about eating prosciutto from a gas station. They just have high quality items for low prices!
I would highly recommend stopping here along your adventure, it is great for a little break along the way. read more
