Call me "biais" but Epoisses is one of the best French cheese, if you ask me. I've been to the Fromagerie in Burgundy, while on holidays (my daughter lives in Gevrey-Chambertin) and every time, we'll make a run to the Fromagerie to get cheese whenever we have guests over for dinner! BEST, BEST CHEESE! Ohhh, there are some good others too, of course, at Fromagerie Berthaut who does a great job, has very good products but where in France don't you find GOOD PRODUCTS DU TERROIR!!! read more

Epoisses is an extremely excellent cheese. However it is hard to find in my parts. Each time I've found it (Los Gatos, Napa and Truckee), it was from Fromagerie Berthaut. Are they the Epoisses mafia in California? Maybe but they do make a great product. read more
