There is a elevator but the hotel doesn't let anyone use it on the weekends and it only goes from the ground floor to the third floor. The rooms in the main hotel are much nicer, more updated, but smaller. Mattresses were firm, bedding was average for Germany hotels. The location is near the strassenbahn and about 30 min from downtown Bremen.

Das Hotel befindet sich im Herzen Schwachhausens, dem schönsten Stadtteil Bremens. This could have been way better. The hotel is ok, the rooms are well equipped and at first I…read morethought this was a good deal for a good price. Now, after 4 days here, I regret staying here. The service is very inconsistent (most of the times everyone is very rude), and even though the hotel claims to have a restaurant here, I am still trying to figure out when is that thing opened. Even though they have a picture in the lobby of a tasty burger, the restaurant was closed every time we tried eating there. We stayed here from thursday to monday, and they din't open for lunch in any of the days, and they didn't open for dinner on sunday. Ironically, they don't inform you about that anywhere. The hotel is located 5km away from the central station, which is not bad, considering you can take the bus right in front of the hotel and you'll be in the city center in 23 minutes. The bus ticket is not cheap though (€2,75 single ride; €10,50 day ticket). Fortunately, the nights buses work really well, and we had no problem getting here at 1am. The breakfast is ok, but I just found out they charge €9,80/person, which I think was very expensive (especially comparing to what you can eat with that money). The neighborhood is mainly residential, and there are only three restaurants: a grill house, an italian (really good) and McDonalds - which is, by the way, the only one that offers lunch. When checking out I reconsidered the price for what we got, and would definitely not stay here again.
