This gas station is a must-see in Beverly Hills because of the very cool roof. The retro style is an architect's dream. It adds so much charm to the city. I love that it's here. This gas station is very centrally located in Beverly Hills and also has a full service option. It is a bit pricier than other gas stations but the customer service is on-point and they take good care of you and your car which makes it worth it. The gas station also has a really nice big convenience store attached to it with lots of good products and gifts. read more

Probably one of the best locations I have been too. Fresh nice clean fuel and nice tasting snacks here. Machines always working, and their fuel pumps. Service is better, and I have no problems here. read more

Scam pump. I was charged $89.24 for 14.875 gallons of gas. My BMW M440i holds 15.6 gallons, and I was nearly empty. After filling up and driving only 3 miles, my digital fuel gauge still read under half a tank. The station attendant said it was my car's fault and told me to "drive more." I've never had this issue before, and the digital system updates in real time. I have timestamped photos and filed a formal complaint with LA County Weights & Measures. Either the pump is malfunctioning or rigged. Avoid this place -- pump #6. Check the times on the photos -- less than two hours to supposedly use roughly 8 gallons. Ridiculous. Oh and it was 5.99/gallon. Love that. read more

Went to this wayyyyy overpriced gas station yesterday. I decided to treat myself to the full service area for gasoline. Immediately, I was approached. While my experience was so so at this conveniently located 76 location, I agree with some of the other negative reviews. The attendant had an attitude towards me, and I was totally not impressed. I needed to fill my gas tank, and this guy didn't even wash my windshield completely. The reason this gas station is still in business is because of their convenient location, and that's it. This place is cramped with cars getting gas and tight between gas station lanes to pull your car through to the pump. If you've been there, you'll definitely know what I mean. If you haven't, think twice. And their prices is the highest around the area. You were warned. read more

Totally rude and chauvinistic staff. Forget about how ridiculously overpriced this place is ! I stopped to get some gas and was hastily cleaning my windshield when the outdoor pump attendant demanded that I needed to " move it along" because someone else had pulled in as I was almost done cleaning. I was stunned as I was not leaving my car to go inside and was finishing up. Yet, he somehow still felt compelled to tell me what to do when he clearly saw I was not lingering or meandering. I wonder if he would've done that if I were a man with a luxury vehicle instead of a woman with a Prius. read more

I had no idea that this location existed and I definitely didn't know it was a historical landmark. I thought it was especially cool looking. I swear though, I think that they have the absolute highest gas prices I've seen in SoCal. The one thing that made our visit a little tricky was that their lot is really small and so maneuvering to be in the right position was tough for a number of cars who were also trying to fuel up simultaneously. And I don't know if their location is primarily full service because of it being a landmark but man oh man that causes a lot of traffic. Whew. Now we know. Oh... and don't be shocked if the sales person isn't too friendly. read more

i was fueling my car and asked for the bathroom code, which is only for paying customers. I showed the cashier, a man with glasses that my car outside and used my key to flash the lights, showing that it is indeed my car. instead of giving me the code, he instead questioned me in a condescending tone if i was only "sitting there" without fueling. I asked him to check himself and he wouldn't. in a rude manner he asked me to wait until he finished whatever he had on hand(he had nothing) before he gave me the code. absolutely unacceptable. read more

I had a flat tire and pulled in on my way to work. I know they are the highest priced around for gas, so I assumed I was in for a big ticket. As a female, I'm accustomed to having issues with car related things, like buying and repairs. The gentleman evaluated my tire and found a giant nail in it. He said it would take ten minutes and $25. He easily could've taken me for the moon and stars, but didn't. I was in a vulnerable position and was treated with respect and honesty. Also made it to work on time. read more

76 gas station on North Crescent Drive and South Santa Monica Bl in 90210, is a historical landmark. When I have a chance I will take pics and post the stingray shape of this station's roof, it's retro cool! Because it's conveniently close by, I frequent this station for gas because they have Full service and all the guys here are professional, attentive and very nice. It is on the high side$$$$ but you have to consider the excellent service and the location. There have been countless celebrities(men and women), I have seen here, who actually pump their own gas :) read more

A very unique gas station with the beautiful lighting at night. This station is bright and clean, located in the corner with easy access from two ways. There's a clean convenient store with restroom for a fresh up. read more

REALLY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I couldn't believe it they wouldn't open the bathroom I had to tell 3 people and nobody would listen they wanted me to pump gas first and I kept on telling them I had to use the restroom first the lady in the register I believe her name was Camila Indian lady was super rude I can't believe this read more

This gas station is the worst. They have self-service and full-service on a very small lot. Never mind that gas prices are already artificially high as it is, they literally create gridlock by making half the pumps full-service. So good luck to you if your tank is on the wrong side at any given time. There's also limited space between pumps, so if someone pulls up in their Phantom, two pumps are taken. read more

Rude staff. As I was trying to fit the gas pump in my car a worker yelled at me that I better be careful or they'll charge me $300 if I "break" the pump. I am a 100lb 5'2 girl, I was not being rough in the slightest with the pump. Instead of coming to help me the man just yelled at me. I put $10 in and went to a different gas station. read more

Expensive, but your car is worth it, and the attendants in full-service treat it like gold. Remember how your dad would talk about the good old days, when cars were made out of metal and built to last, gas was forty cents a gallon, service-station employees would check your air, oil, clean your windows--and tucked their shirts in... --and every third Thursday of the month at school, you'd do the duck-and-cover drill because your teachers convinced you that your desk could defend you against Soviet hydrogen bombs? (My dad didn't talk about that stuff, either) AnyColdWar, this station is pretty boss. They'll let you use their restroom even if you don't buy anything, but how could you not buy anything!? If the supermarket or your regular liquor store is closed or being robbed, Jack Colker's 76 is a great alternative if you're just after a few staples like cellophane-wrapped muffins, coffee, beer, and pills to give you a more potent boner. I recommend full-service if you can swing it, because you'll feel like you're at a pit-stop at the Indianapolis 500, except you're a block away from Whole Foods and Sprinkles Cupcakes. There's a nice hand carwash available, too in case your car is as filthy as my mind. Nearly five bucks a gallon!? RIPOFF. But then, you are in Beverly Hills, sexy. Even the building's fab. So, to summarize: - ripoff prices - FANTASTIC service - duck, and cover, sweetie - potent erection read more

If you make the mistake of running low on gas in Beverly Hills, you might as well come here, bend over, get hosed and enjoy the experience! It's an architectural icon designed by William Pereira, the man behind the Transamerica Pyramid in SF and LACMA here, to name a few of the 400 or so creations he built. Designed after the Googie school, (yes, before Google there was Googie) it showcases one of the features of this futuristic style, the big curved, sloping roof. As I watched my fortune click away to the tune of $4.50/gallon, I did find the peace of mind necessary to enjoy another special feature of this gas station, the awesome eye candy coming and going. Curvy, bulbous, fine, all shapes and sizes and tightly honed, they're some hella gorgeous automobiles in the 90210. Not to mention the drivers! Oh to be a 17 year old again, and a gas jockey here. I also noticed that although most of the pumps here are Full Serve, most of the beauties were lining up for the Self Serve section. Sorry boys, we're getting our hands dirty. Hell yeah! Even in the BH they are saving their dollahs! Hollah! 5 stars for the "special features" see pix posted read more

The station has style. It's all about that modernist swoop of a sun/rain cover, designed for LAX, that proves itself a prime example of Googie architecture in Los Angeles. It's a recommended visit by many architecture blogs and publications around the world. However, design can only keep you in a euphoric state for so long. In the end it is a gas station, and with the average price of gasoline in Los Angeles at $3.79/gallon (according to http://www.losangelesgasprices.com/), the Jack Colker 76 station's $4.31/gallon for regular ranks among the worst offenders for fossil fuel mark-up. Yet, amusingly they actually aren't the highest priced. They've got four pumps, half of which are dedicated to full service. Prices for that run $5.169/regular, $5.22/plus, and $5.33/premium. These prices are not posted anywhere but on the pump itself, so beware if you don't intend on getting out of the car while someone else pumps for you. Then again, I'm sure the sort of customers who fuel up here aren't concerned about price. I mean, we're in Beverly Hills. But damn, where's Jed Clampett with some refined, unleaded Texas tea when you need him? read more

Rude and unprofessional customer service is not a concern of theres... if you need gas buy gas somewhere else.

Worse gas station. I can't even believe how terrible customer service is. Rude. The employees are just bad period.

A busy overpriced gas station where a number of the pumps are full service only. This isn't Oregon. I can pump my own damn gas. It's the same product as everywhere else, but it costs WAY more. It was basically the only gas station around when I was running low, though. Maybe ridiculous gas prices are a reflection of what they pay for the property. Or maybe it's because they have to subsidize the totally pointless full-service option. It looks cool, but I don't care. Whenever I stop for gas, I'm inevitably in a hurry. I wouldn't care if the thing were built from bricks made out of pig shit. Just give me gas and let me get on my way. read more

Super great service, but beware of the advertised prices! When you actually get to the pump (and are greeted by the attendant) you will realize the price is actually MORE... you're paying for the service, and you don't have to even get out of the car (only to pay, duh). I suppose it's a sight everyone in the area should see, just don't fill up your whole tank!!!!! Tear drops for over $5 a gallon gas :( 5 stars for the architectural design, minus 2 stars for the high price :( that I stumbled upon inadvertently. read more

Rudest service station manager I have ever met. His tagline "This is my property" Nothing about Are you in trouble? How can I help you? Everything about buy my gas or get out of here. The guys working at the convenient store today 11/30 7pm was extremely rude for absolutely no reason, lame!

I live near here, so when I've left it too late to comfortably make it anywhere else for gas, I come here. It is very expensive, but I try to think I am contributing to maintaining an architectural gem. And I don't fill up. After the comment about credit card fraud, from now on I'll just use cash. But another word of caution -- the hair salon Umberto (on Canon) used to use these guys to detail the salon clients' cars. But they told me that customers had had problems with things "missing," so they now offer their own service. If you're running low on gas near here, I think the next closet station would be SW corner of S. Beverly and Olympic -- and they're nice there. read more

One of the last places in the Southern California to full service. Sometimes you just don't want to get out of the car and go to work. I just read ALL the complaints with low reviews. Do you know that when you pulled up to the pump you drove into a business. Rhetorical question. Did you see the attendants? Those people are performing a service and that is a great employer providing good jobs. These people feed and cloth themselves and put money back into our economy. Yes, well over $5.00 a gallon, its money well spent. read more

This place has the absolute worst customer service and the people working there just sit around and don't do anything. I put gas in the car and as it was filling I walked to the pet store next door. I didn't even buy anything and was gone for all of 3 minutes. I walk back to my car at the empty gas station and two attendants start yelling at me for leaving my car filling at the station while I walked next door. I was gone as long as I would have been if I had gone inn the gas station store. I'm a young girl and I feel uncomfortable getting gas at a gas station where I am being harassed by its employees. The most expensive gas in town, under any circumstances. I once had a credit card number reused within hours in ten Southern Cal stations after using it once at this station. The manager said the FBI had been there to interview them and these things happen all the time. It is out of their control.
