This gas station is a must-see in Beverly Hills because of the very cool roof. The retro style is an architect's dream. It adds so much charm to the city. I love that it's here. This gas station is very centrally located in Beverly Hills and also has a full service option. It is a bit pricier than other gas stations but the customer service is on-point and they take good care of you and your car which makes it worth it. Scam pump. I was charged $89.24 for 14.875 gallons of gas. My BMW M440i holds 15.6 gallons, and I was nearly empty. After filling up and driving only 3 miles, my digital fuel gauge still read under half a tank. The station attendant said it was my car's fault and told me to "drive more." I've never had this issue before, and the digital system updates in real time. I have timestamped photos and filed a formal complaint with LA County Weights & Measures. Either the pump is malfunctioning or rigged. Avoid this place -- pump #6. Check the times on the photos -- less than two hours to supposedly use roughly 8 gallons. Ridiculous. Went to this wayyyyy overpriced gas station yesterday. I decided to treat myself to the full service area for gasoline. Immediately, I was approached. While my experience was so so at this conveniently located 76 location, I agree with some of the other negative reviews. The attendant had an attitude towards me, and I was totally not impressed. I needed to fill my gas tank, and this guy didn't even wash my windshield completely. The reason this gas station is still in business is because of their convenient location, and that's it. This place is cramped with cars getting gas and tight between gas station lanes to pull your car through to the pump. If you've been there, you'll definitely know what I mean. I swear though, I think that they have the absolute highest gas prices I've seen in SoCal. The one thing that made our visit a little tricky was that their lot is really small and so maneuvering to be in the right position was tough for a number of cars who were also trying to fuel up simultaneously. i was fueling my car and asked for the bathroom code, which is only for paying customers. I showed the cashier, a man with glasses that my car outside and used my key to flash the lights, showing that it is indeed my car. instead of giving me the code, he instead questioned me in a condescending tone if i was only "sitting there" without fueling. This gas station is the worst. They have self-service and full-service on a very small lot. Never mind that gas prices are already artificially high as it is, they literally create gridlock by making half the pumps full-service. So good luck to you if your tank is on the wrong side at any given time. There's also limited space between pumps, so if someone pulls up in their Phantom, two pumps are taken. read more

If you make the mistake of running low on gas in Beverly Hills, you might as well come here, bend over, get hosed and enjoy the experience! It's an architectural icon designed by William Pereira, the man behind the Transamerica Pyramid in SF and LACMA here, to name a few of the 400 or so creations he built. Designed after the Googie school, (yes, before Google there was Googie) it showcases one of the features of this futuristic style, the big curved, sloping roof. As I watched my fortune click away to the tune of $4.50/gallon, I did find the peace of mind necessary to enjoy another special feature of this gas station, the awesome eye candy coming and going. Curvy, bulbous, fine, all shapes and sizes and tightly honed, they're some hella gorgeous automobiles in the 90210. Not to mention the drivers! Oh to be a 17 year old again, and a gas jockey here. It's a recommended visit by many architecture blogs and publications around the world. However, design can only keep you in a euphoric state for so long. In the end it is a gas station, and with the average price of gasoline in Los Angeles at $3.79/gallon (according to http://www.losangelesgasprices.com/), the Jack Colker 76 station's $4.31/gallon for regular ranks among the worst offenders for fossil fuel mark-up. Yet, amusingly they actually aren't the highest priced. They've got four pumps, half of which are dedicated to full service. Prices for that run $5.169/regular, $5.22/plus, and $5.33/premium. These prices are not posted anywhere but on the pump itself, so beware if you don't intend on getting out of the car while someone else pumps for you. A busy overpriced gas station where a number of the pumps are full service only. This isn't Oregon. I can pump my own damn gas. It's the same product as everywhere else, but it costs WAY more. I live near here, so when I've left it too late to comfortably make it anywhere else for gas, I come here. It is very expensive, but I try to think I am contributing to maintaining an architectural gem. And I don't fill up. After the comment about credit card fraud, from now on I'll just use cash. But another word of caution -- the hair salon Umberto (on Canon) used to use these guys to detail the salon clients' cars. But they told me that customers had had problems with things "missing," so they now offer their own service.
