Recently went back for deep tissue work minus the stone therapy as I did not want to go thru the painful bruising again. Therapist's deep tissue work is outstanding. If you cannot stand very deep massage this is probably not the place for you. With my physical issues it's exactly what I needed.

The masseuse stopped using lotion/oils at one point and was massaging on dry skin. What I guess was supposed to be "head scratches" felt like my hair was being ripped out of my skull. I could tell the masseuse simply wanted to get the massage over with as she progressively got more aggressive. I've gotten plenty of massages before at various places and this was probably one of the worst ones. The place is cash only so towards the end the masseuse acted like she expected me to give her my whole change as a tip (which was about half of what the total price of the massage was) and kept hovering over me looking to see how much money I had in my purse. I gave her what I thought was a good tip despite the massage not being great and she kept harassing me for more money saying the last person gave her more. Overall not the best experience. Experience could vary depending on the masseuse.

They spoke loudly in Chinese during my massage and went in and out of the room frequently and left the door open while my parts were hanging out!!! They demand the cost of services and tip upfront before you get a massage. And apparently, they don't know how to knock before entering a room. I'll take a pass on this business.

The room was spacious and she had a nice scent in the air as well as relaxing music. She offered hot stones as well as aromatherapy. She has a lighter touch so not as deep as I've had in the past however she was still able to work on a lot of my tension. She used a variety of touch techniques which was great. It was more like a rubbing of the skin or doing the motions. Usually I get a sense of relief when I feel the tension being massaged out but I never actually got a massage, then the feet we got to my feet and she definitely needs to study back up on foot reflexology bc most tension is kept in the feet and she never hit any of those spots to relieve the tension. To say the least I thought bc it was in Houndslake that the services would be legit. But I'm wondering if that license is even real bc I'm not sure what I paid for.
