And before that, well, it was something. This intersection of 7800 S. and 700 E. seems to always have changes going on. That's probably good news if you're after a C-store in the area. You certainly will have your pick. Choose this 7-11 over neighboring ones if you're going for beverages and a big stop. It's quite roomy on the inside with lots of beverages, junk food, and quick stuff you'll need. Harmons is nearby if you need more than a few basics, but you're dealing with grocery store size and breadth so it's not quite as convenient. If it's the gasoline you're after, it may be better to run to the Harmons Fuel Stop to the north, especially if you're a Harmons regular and have a fuel discount ticket from your last purchase. Big and bright, get your grub and get going.

List of random things I willl admit to running over to Walgreen's for: a gallon of milk, Dove deodorant, sugar free Jell-O, Zicam, Emergen-C, NyQuil, 0 calorie Sparkling water, saltine crackers, gift bags, birthday/holiday cards, shampoo, random candy cravings... this list keeps going... Expect to pay more than you would from a Walmart run or Costco trip, but I guess well just chalk it up to a convenience fee. When you don't feel like driving all the way to Walmart or Costco, dealing with the parking and people I thank the HEAVENS that Walgreen's is right next door for all my unforeseen needs!

My favorite part was the large selection of fresh and marinated meats, they've got cuts you can't find in a chain grocery store. It's all displayed behind a case, you ask the butcher to weigh the amount you're looking for, then it's bagged and tied up. I got a pound of the marinated flap steak to grill for tacos - it's absolutely amazing! The produce section is a bit limited, but there is plenty of what is needed for Mexican and Central American cuisine; Roma tomatoes, aloe vera, cilantro, radishes, peppers, limes, green onions, yellow and white onions, key limes, etc. Every lime I touched was the perfect ripeness, a very different experience than most other stores' citrus selections. There were many different sizes of corn and flour tortillas, some were crispy, some were made from blue corn, big bags, small bags. I loved the drink selection here of Mexican beers, aloe drinks, yogurt and fruit drinks, etc. There are a few aisles of dry and canned goods, pastas, beans, cooking oils, chips, masa, lots of Mexican sweets, shampoo, household cleaning items. I noticed this market has an awesome hot sauce and spice selection right next to the meat counter, you could probably read bottles for 30 minutes and still have more to see. I found some excellent freshly made unlabeled salsa in a fridge by the check out (very tasty, very spicy!), some baked goods, and a selection of tortilla presses and other cooking implements by the entrance. The staff is very friendly and speaks mostly Spanish, but language wasn't a barrier at all, I got everything I needed here! In love and I'll be back!
