These are not gourmet food items, but for a worker's lunch, 2 for $6 was right up my alley. The two girls working the cash registers were pleasant, cheerful. Since you are on the island, it's awesome to have this store for so many years for convenience downtown, but do expect to pay maybe a dollar more than you would on the mainland. But, I really can't fault them for that. They have a full array of everything you'll need from snacks, cigs, beer, pop and more. You'll have to drive in at least once while you're here, or just walk right up to the cash register if you're on foot.

It looks like this was a car repair shop at one time and then converted as you pull right into the store through a big bay door and they have coolers and their shelves of stuff on each side of your car. Someone walks up to your car and you literally drive through the store until you get to the other end when you reach the register and then they ring you out. They have your typical convenience store stuff but the uniqueness of this place's layout is what earned it the four star rating.

Unlike other gas stations where you have to endlessly circle to find your way to the highway, this one is easy hop off and on. Gas: The gas is pretty cheap at this location. All pumps are functional. Merchandise: The merchandise at this gas station is well organized. You can quickly browse for chips or drinks finding everything in one place. You can always find a lot of souvenirs. If you suddenly need a positive potato or Labubu while on the road, stop in! They even have Beauty and the Beast like roses. I always check out the inventory! It's a fun stop along the mundane road! Service: Service is usually friendly and you even get greeted upon entry. That's very rare for a gas station. My only criticism of this gas station is the fact that is so very outdated. It could use major modernization which would make it a lot more inviting.
