Aside from the coffee and such they also have a nearly full service deli where you can pick up a sandwich and an array of breakfast sandwiches that are freshly made and not in some wrappers. Actually their egg sandwiches are quite good. As for their gas portion the prices are reflective of the over inflation that we'll be paying at the pumps but that's for another forum to be vented. The parking here is ample and the inside and out are kept clean. Overall a reliable spot for coffee and some gas.

AND - after regularly coming here the attendant told me I should get a "frequent coffee card", or whatever its called. Every six cups of coffee, I get a free one. AND he punched my card for the coffees I had all week. AND they give you a free bottle of water with a large coffee (which I don't drink, its that cheap-o weird spring water, I just save it in my fridge for guests.) Did I mention they have a great coffee bar? My morning gym companions are a lot happier now that I come here first. Oh, I think you can get gas here, but its a little pricey. Go a half mile up the block to hess and you won't have to pay an addition 10 cents a gallon when you use your debit card.

This year I've had ridiculous car tire issues I am hoping that this past time is the last time I've got to deal with a car tire issue for quite some time. I may have replaced all 4 of my car tires at some point this year at various gas stations and mechanic shops across the Island from Hewlett to Babylon. On Wednesday I got the second flat tire I've gotten within a short span of a few weeks. I felt the familiar car shake of a flat tire while I was on the parkway so I pulled over in Wantagh, saw my tire was indeed flat and called my good friends at AAA. I got the spare donut tire put on the car and drove to BP. They checked my tire and said I needed a new one which I figured. So they ordered a new tire, I had to wait a day and I bought the car back in on Thursday so they could take care of it. They give me a discount for working at the library which I truly appreciate. As long as I'm working in Hewlett, the good old guys at BP might be turning into my regular mechanics that I deal with.

They are a full service gas station, which is always nice when the weather is cold or rainy, or it's just nice to have someone else pump your gas. The attendant is always quick and friendly. He had replaced the brakes and worked on two rotors in past years as well. This time, because I do very little driving and had the brakes replaced the year before at Lexus of Freeport, I decided to get a second opinion at Mavis ( something I do not usually do). Mavis took off the rim to Inspect my brakes and said that I did Not need them at all. I called Gus and was told he never actually looked at the brakes, he had never removed to cover to see. Yet they scheduled an appointment for me to replace the brakes. Also, the windshield wiper they put on in January 2025 does not touch the glass - so that's not working. I put my trust in Gus Auto shop and wonder if the previous work all these years was substandard & not needed. For example, I also had changed the oil and the car did not feel like the oil was changed. Probably the car engine is damaged because another customer has the same complaint. - I asked for Mobile 1 & I felt at the time that I did not get that oil or possibly no new oil. So although he and the office staff are nice to me I no longer trust what's happening there. Too bad!
