The moment you touch something you'll see a worker behind you scrubbing it down. Which is hilarious but hey you got to do whatcha got to do. Gas pumps were easy to use and worked pretty well. I'm not object to a quick snack found at a local grocery store and my memories of Publix were…read morealways of higher end products and a wide selection of everything from sugar free oatmeal to 5 different kinds of Wensleydale Cheese and beyond. I got lost on my way to St. Augustine (even though it's clearly marked on the highway-I know) and took a detour after visiting the Harley Davidson jamboree. A bright green sign luring me in with "Brown Rice Sushi Now Available" caught my attention and my little Scooby Doo ears perked up and I was hooked. I walked in, got some decent sushi, peeked at the pate (which according to my memory, was pretty good) and reminisced living in the south and loving cooking at home because of all the awesome finds I had at the local Publix. I bought a variety of junk foods to keep me fueled on my trip to St. Augustine and the check out counter just blew my mind! People in Florida may be used to seeing an awesome personalized checkout screen for them and the cashier but I'm not and I was blown away by the technology. Score 1 for Florida, 0 for California....

Even…read morethough this is pretty far south in town, it's a really good gas station option, especially of all the Wawa's in town. Since it is on the edge of town the gas prices are usually the cheapest, or at least consistently the most competitive. This location is also clean and well taken care of. An awesome thing about Wawa- they have free air! For some reason, you can't find free air hardly anywhere at Florida gas stations to fill up your tires. They also have a pretty good rewards program. The upsetting thing that doesn't make sense to me, however, is that buying gas doesn't count towards the rewards. So I don't really get gas at Wawa anymore, but they still usually have good prices at this location. The next closest Wawa is along Bartow and Edgewood about 15 minutes away. I would always choose this South Florida location to go to over the others. It's just so nice. And for a gas station they really do have decent food at great prices. You go, Wawa.

I go to cash out and the women seem to have approached the card reader again and it still had the price of the ice cream on the card reader and I can't tell what the goal was but the lady stated she didn't want to pay for someone else's items and the card reader was still loading. He started telling them he's going to help me highly aggressively. He even started shouting "why did you touch my card reader your card decline decline decline" i was terribly uncomfortable being here. one customer had left while listening. And then the worker even said "my customer left" like blaming the women for the customer leaving. they're trying to reason with him, they just didn't understand It seems. i want to make it clear my business was also lost at the same time as the other customer 10000% percent because of the mistreatment Of his customers. I chose to not support this person because how can we honestly just treat humans like this? I was appalled. These were older women. Having issues needing help. I should've said it out loud to the clerk when I left so the women knew I didn't leave because of them but I left because of how this "man" was treating them! And not to mention the ROBBERY. I pull up in an Audi a year ago (the first time I ever came to the store, today was my second time ever at this store) to get a vape and I bought a miami mint raz - charged 2 for 50 I said ok because only place I could find the flavor and i also got a flying horse pen, I walked out spending ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Yet my coworker uses this place as his regular vape store and always given deals something like 2 for 30-35 for the same raz vape. today I came to grab a quick vape leaving work just bc mine is out and didnt want to wait til I'm in my town but this was my second and final visit. absurd.
