Yeah, that happened yesterday and this Speedway saved my family from an epic Noah's Ark disaster. Just as I was heading south out of Georgetown on my way to Charleston, this gem popped up in the middle of nowhere, and we were able to top off the gas and empty bladders. This station also has a wicked big convenience store and a fast food joint, so all needs can be met in one stop. Gas pumps worked like they should, and the window squeegees have long handles, which means less leaning up against the car when cleaning the windshield. Win-win.

Rushes to check me out--Sunday evening, not busy. I put in my phone number and it was the wrong number. I told him I need to try another number. He proceeds to tell me he can't do it and rings up my groceries without changing my number. I told him I wanted to input the right number in. He proceeds to tell me I've got to go the main desk to get my number applied. He made no attempt to get help and learn how to make the change. I had to take my food to the front desk. Eventually got the right number in at the front desk 15 minutes later and saved about $3.50 because of being a frequent buyer. Just to add something else there was an older couple in front of me and when he gave them their change back, there were penny's involved. He ran out. He made no effort to call someone to get change he just asked them if they cared. They said no but he shouldn't have even asked. Look this kid seemed arrogant and like he didn't care. He should never be working a checkout. He'd be better off stocking shelves!! He needs better training. Very sad that hasn't been trained better. Disappointed.

Also asking other customers if you were rude or not is next level unprofessional. If you have to ask, you were! Perhaps moving the sign to a more visible location so people notice it would be a good place to start.

The day we visited there was a very nice middle aged lady inside that we had a nice conversation with. She pointed out all the special bottles of whiskey they currently had as well as some different bottles they had on sale. Not a bad place to go hunting and prices are on par with most other small mom and pop owned ABC stores. They definitely have all the basics you'd ever need, plus some other brands/bottles too. For a place like Georgetown, I'd say Tupacz is a real keeper. Plenty of free parking out front and on the side too. Every time I scoot through Georgetown on my way to Charleston, I definitely plan to stop in to see what they've got going.
