I took a picture of some of the menus (see photos). We did not get one but look at the photo of the crab cakes. Those things are huge and $5.99. If you look closely at the photo, you can see how the breading is peeling in one location and it is not heavily breaded! We got the grilled cheese, spicy nacho grilled cheese, and All American sandwich (see photos). The food is all really good and freshly prepared. Coffee was good also. Good option for quick bite.

Everything I've eaten has been excellent. They are very friendly and fast and efficient with getting your order and getting you the right food. Their memories are pretty amazing. But also the portions are humongous, I have a big appetite, but I can only eat about half of whatever they've given me. I highly recommend.

After hearing alllllllll too often about this place from Shea D. (you have no idea how many "I'm…read moreeating a delicious sandwich that only cost $4!" texts I've gotten...) I finally was able to give it a try! Wow. $3.50 got me a huge turkey sandwich will all the fixin's I could ask for. Unlike down here in the damned West Village where A FREAKIN' SLICE OF TOMATO COSTS AN EXTRA BUCK! WANT CHEESE ON YOUR SANDWICH? YEAH THAT'S A DOLLAR TOO. Oh, you want bread with your sandwich? Fine, but that'll cost ya! GRRR!!!!! Anyway, delicious sandwich yes. The only thing was that it took a good eternity to make. I mean, Margot G and I both fully exchanged our two separate trip to a friends wedding stories we were on in the time it took the guy to make a couple sandwiches. Lame on that part. But again, $3.50. I won't complain... much.

This place reminds me of European neighborhood pharmacies--smart and caring people who take pride in their work and in their connection to customers. And the retail part of the pharmacy has everything you might need. What a great experience.

I walked into Hartley Pharmacy with a legitimate prescription for Adderall XR and a valid insurance…read moreplan that covers it. At first they told me they "don't take Medicaid." When I produced my actual insurance card and confirmed my coverage, they changed their tune and refused to fill the prescription, claiming "shortages" and "over-saturation." I left hoping to support a local business -- but instead I got shifting excuses and no transparency. Having a controlled-substance prescription is already complicated enough. What I experienced felt dishonest and unfair. I ended up scrambling to find another pharmacy and asking my doctor to cancel and reissue the script, which caused extra stress and delay. If you rely on prescriptions -- especially controlled-substances -- I wouldn't trust this pharmacy to be consistent, fair, or reliable.

First off when we got in the store the guys behind the counter was watching a movie and it was very loud. I didn't care but he seemed annoyed we came inside to interrupt his "tv time". He barely made eye contact and rushed us out. I was polite and nice. We went back out to scratch off our lotto tickets. (We were waiting for our seats at the pancake house across the street) We ended up winning on 2 scratch offs $6. So i told my nephew he can get whatever he wants. We went inside and the guy behind the counter looked even more annoyed. I felt awkward but was being polite and kind hoping to change he mood. Nope he started yelling at me saying "i know what you are trying to do" "i have cameras in here" he said i was trying to make him lose his job. I told him I am almost 32 and asked if he wanted my ID. My 9 year old nephew was scared and confused. I took the money and left. We didn't buy anything. Told my nephew we can go somewhere else. Very strange. I will not be going back there to interrupt his tv time.

I am tempted to give Morton Williams a review of two stars like the overall score but that would…read morenot be taking into consideration the neighborhood. If anything, I feel like a two and a half stars would be appropriate. That being said, I think the negative reviews are due in part that Morton Williams is about as expensive as Whole Foods but way less selection than a Whole Foods or even a C-Town. But the prices and selection are what they are because of location. They are right by Columbia University. In terms of supermarkets in the neighborhood, it's on par with Apple Tree, which I would consider three stars but definitely not as good as Westside Market or H-Mart in terms of selection but that's the tradeoff for the proximity to campus. To be fair I haven't done a ton of shopping (I've mostly bought protein bars out of convenience) and personally if I lived there I would walk the extra 6 blocks to Westside Market for the fresher produce and better selection of goods. The times I've shopped there, I was processed fairly quickly.
