On a Sunday afternoon after having a late lunch, I suggested we come here and enjoy a beer. My mom doesn't drink but she was open to accompanying me here and just hanging out with me. This spot is chill and they have a lot of beers on draft and a bunch of different styles. If you like craft beers, this is a nice laid back spot to enjoy them. They have also added a bunch of bourbons too and you can get 1 oz pours too. Neat-o! It was colder yesterday with a cold breeze so we sat inside. I ordered a Lil Wit beer and we sat inside at one of their many indoor tables and chatted. They have a few lottery machines here and my mom enjoys playing some of the games so she bought a few cards and we scratched them off together, checked to see if she won or not, talked, laughed and had a fun time. On a really nice day, you can sit outside and they have a great patio space and also covered areas too. This is a popular spot amongst locals. I immensely value the time I have with my mom. And its great we can come here together, enjoy a beer and shoot the breeze!

On a warm spring Friday evening there was live music, lots of people sitting outside and enjoying the vibes. We actually sat inside since outside was so crowded. Since this place doesn't have food, we got food next door at 2Fifty Texas (love them by the way). We did somel bourbon tastings. I discovered a new bourbon that I really like, Peerless. Parking is tight around here but we parked in the lot across the street.

Unlike the big box stores, they can't stock umpteen varieties of the same thing. But then again, you can shop the entire store and not feel like you've run a marathon and if you forgot something it's half a mile away. Reminds me of the grocery stores of my youth, in the 1950s. Convenient parking. Never too crowded, although I'd be happy if they had more out of town patronage to assure they stay financially healthy.

It's an all-in-one mini mart grocery, hot bar, sophisticated cheese department, pharmacy, gift and cards section, with elevated wine from local award-winning foreign and domestic wineries. On select afternoons I want to say Thursday and Friday you can sample beer and wine from note-worthy vendors that come from all over. They have a good variety of vegan and vegetarian food to offer as well. Last Thanksgiving, I was desperately looking to locate fresh thyme, it appeared the other grocery stores ran out. Greenbelt Co-Op to my surprise had abundant bundles of fresh herbs. I want to tell the staff and owners thank you for creating such a great place for locals to come pick up groceries at all times, where the staff is friendly, and the lines are short! You guys are worthy of some attention and praise. #ThankYouThursday

I had been all over the place to locate an item I use daily. Every single spot I had stopped at was…read moreout of it, or didn't even carry it. I even tried Amazon and had the package stolen twice. Who knew Clearasil was such a hot commodity. I was about to give up and change my skincare routine, until I stopped here. I will say, I have bypassed this location so many times because of how sketchy it looks from outside. I mean, it's a place, that if it were more pedestrian friendly, would give you the notion that it was an easy place to rob or steal from. It is so odd looking, a suburban, mall adjacent CVS with a parking lot lower than the store and you have to take stares or walk halfway down the store to use the ramp. I knew coming here I was probably not going to find the item. And if I did, it was going to be more expensive than competitors since it is technically a pharmacy. One of those two things were true, and my wallet can tell you which one. Yes, finally had the item, but definitely spent almost twice as much for it. Before heading to the register I did a once over to see if there was anything else that I wanted to grab. There was, with my hand full I finally made my way to the front. What a mess this is here. With the combination of customers not knowing what to do, not enough employees in the store working, and those employees that are in the store are way overworked to the point they can't focus on the register because they are putting out customer fires. To say that checking out was a nightmare would be an understatement. With customer's not being able to read signs, people wanting to use cash or get cash back had both the self serve registers messed up. The sole employee trying to be customers cashed out would have to run from his post at the register to the self serve registers to have those customers come to the register to solve their problems. That line went as fast as prolonged street light. Lord, watching the sole employee juggle the chaos was amazing. That man needs a raise, but we know CVS won't do that. I finally got to a self serve register, no help needed because I read the sign first. Rang out and was finally out the door, down the steps, and back in my vehicle.
