I came here picked up a hotdog and 3 bags of chips. I looked back at my photos and Circle K and Oxxo sold the same 3 bags of chips for $40 peso and 7 Eleven sold them for $47 each. Boo hoo. Oh well. But again 7 Eleven is a bigger name world wide.

At home, there are plenty of 7-Eleven and Circle K stores, this is just like that but in Mexico. Plenty of packaged snacks, drinks, coffee and whatever else you need that a convenience store has to offer. This one is right on the corner of Av. Medellin and Av. Chapultepec is pretty small compared to some of the other stores. I was quite surprised when I saw bottles of Electrolit in different flavors. Some of the snacks are hilarious to me from the name. Just like any convenient store, there is still beer sold here. We have an early morning so make our purchases and back to the hotel.

It's a place that you know will always have clean floors, well lit aisles, and properly displayed prices. They sell a variety of water, sodas, beer, ice, snacks, chips, just like a regular convenience store. It reminds me of Circle K. I love that they have all these weird brands of snacks and sodas that I'd never heard of. It felt adventurous to try out "Boing." The clerks were mostly attentive, with a fast check out, and even offering some extra stuff that's on sale! I didn't see a single OXXO with an ATM machine, which was a convenience I could have used. Parking seems impossible here. It's on the corner of a really busy street, and a divided thoroughfare.

Its perfect because the water in Mexico is not drinkable, it makes it very convenient to pick up drinks at Circle K. Its nothing too special. There are drinks and snacks being sold here. OXXO was basically my morning coffee lifeline while I was in CDMX…read more Oxxo is essentially a convenience store in most of CDMX's urban core, though as you get further out away from the city you'll see the gas station and larger storefronts start to appear. This one is tucked into the Juarez neighborhood and while small, has everything you need including the pretty decent andatti coffee machines. For about $1.50 USD or so, you can get a pretty good cappuccino made from a machine with minimal human interaction. Unlike the competitor 7/11, these stores do not tend to be 24 hours. But either way, they are all over the place. And any time you need some chips ,coffee, soda, or water they are here for you!
