I lived in 66 Main for one year and only moved as I relocated out of state for job reasons. From my first visit, to moving in and moving out, I can't say how flexible and professional the staff were. Landon was absolutely wonderful and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I lived in a studio on the 4th floor and found it to be perfect for my needs. I was a regular in the gym on the 9th floor and also of the common area/outside patio. The view is great and super convenient to necessities - restaurants, post office, grocery store and local watering holes. My electric bill was also surprising low and you can't beat the parking. I also had nominal noise from other apartments or outside traffic. There was a change of office staff while I was a resident and Colete was a welcome addition and was always available for contact. I wasn't a commuter but did use the train for trips into the city. Can't beat a one-block walk! Anyone looking to move to the downtown area should save yourself the hassle of looking elsewhere and go straight to 66 Main! Thank you Landon and company for the great year. read more

Terrible living experience, I lived in this building for 4 years and the first year was ok then decline came quick Elevators never work , heat is always out middle of the winter Garage door never works compromising safety of vehicles Always exterminator on site which shows lots of pest problems Cold air stops working middle of the summer Lisa management does nothing ever and they never reply to emails They also over charged everyone on light , they charged double light bills in one month and then was a hassle to have them give credit back I have moved out of this building since March due to the high rent and nothing to show for it and constant battles with ownership and property management for over charging me and they confirmed they did it , and out dated gym and lounge area looks like it had bedbugs If you want to pay a lot of rent and have nothing working and all the amenities outdated then this is the spot for you , it's like living in a nycha building !! And to add the cherry on top I have a month I have since moved and left my apartment in perfect condition and super did an inspection to confirm all is great I have not yet received my security deposit back !! This building is a joke and will scam you with any chance they get. The building refused to fix the garage door upon many resident requests and our car got broken into - of course we had to pay for the damages. This was after a motorcycle was stolen from the same garage. The building illegally entered our unit before we had officially moved out - threw our stuff around and rented our parking spot to someone else. This was while we were still paying and still on lease. We had to beg for our security deposit back - just got the mail with a BILL charging us for moving out. Avoid this building - it seems nice but the neighborhood sucks (someone was shot right outside the main entrance, I stepped out into blood one Sunday morning) and the building management is a joke. It took 5 months to receive my security deposit and there is a $250 move out fee. If you don't feel like reading my long review of this terrible establishment, then I think that the first sentence is reason enough to live elsewhere. If you want the full story, continue reading. I'll start off with the good. It is a nice place, well maintained, and they are prompt with repairs. The weekday door woman and man are the nicest people ever. But trying to move out of this place is an absolute nightmare. In order to move out, you must reserve the elevator on weekdays only. Therefore you must coordinate with your movers and 66 main office. I reserved the elevator 3 weeks in advance. When I wanted to confirm 5 days prior, they stated that day was taken. I keep copies of all my e-mails to prove that I received written confirmation of said reservation. Luckily the other tenant was able to move their move out day. But can you imagine the nightmare it would have been to have two people move out on the same day! Another fine example of how unorganized this establishment is. But wait it gets much worse. To make my life easier, I had 66 main take out the rent check from my checking account. Big mistake, because they continued taking money out 2 months after I moved out! Yes, I was out $3000 due to the company's ineptitude. I called and complained and their property manager stated he would take care of it right away. Needless to say, it was a constant cat and mouse game to get my hard earned money back. He would always say that I'll have a Fed Ex number for you, etc. Nothing. He wouldn't call back and when I finally got a hold of him, he would apologize for continuously dropping the ball. I ended up receiving my $3000 by regular mail a long month after my first complaint. Then comes the security deposit. Again, the property manager said it would be on its way. A month later, I did not receive it. So the cat and mouse game continued for another 2 weeks. I finally got my security deposit but it was $250 short. I called and he said there is a $250 move out fee. In conclusion, this is the most unorganized rental property ever. They do not have their act together and have no idea how to deal with their customers in a professional manner. This is a great property if you plan on living here forever. I have been a tenant here for over two years and I guess I have a much different view of the building. When I looked in the area, I did not see anything else like this place. In fact, there are no other apartment buildings like this unless you want to move to White Plains and there I found it to be much more expensive for less space. I guess I have a reverse feeling of how the management change has effected me. Honestly during my first year year here I was not happy with the way it was going and was considering breaking my lease. It was a bit too lax and nothing was being taken care of. Once they changed over management, I found it to be more in control and in result my requests got taken care of in a timely matter. I feel now is the best it has ever been and I find the more you respect the building and your apartment, the more you can get back. The apartment I occupy is a great layout. Two very clean bathrooms, a huge master bedroom with a extremely large closet. The second bedroom is a very nice room and there is good privacy between the rooms. I love the kitchen as it is part of the large living room. With the dramatic large windows I can raise the shades up there is tons of light. It's also really nice when entertaining at night. I have central heat and AC, plus a washer and dryer that both work fine. When the washer was busted they put a new one in. Lots of closet space and the best is indoor parking. The staff are all cool. I love the Melvin, Yvonne and Steve. They are like family. Eddie is the master of maintenance and give him a lot of respect for what he does. The building has events, a nice gym, community room, outdoor space with nice views and they keep the building clean. As for the area. It is growing rapidly. Crime is everywhere. I lived in Chappaqua NY for 8 years and there was crime there too. So "yes" you can't take anything for granted. I've also met the captain of police and he is very friendly. He gave me his email and cell number to contact him for any problems I see. He also will respond to you. After attending a community meeting. They are very serious about making this more of a good community to live in. For restaurants. I love X20!! The dining room is very nice, but I recommend eating at the bar. The food is spectacular and the bartenders are very good. Zuppa is always another great restaurant, and Not to forget Bella Havana if you like Cuban food. There is a nice park over by the library and the waterfront is fun during the summer. Also if you like wine go to "Wine in Do time" She has a great selection. Rivertown liquors is also a very nice family business. You will find many good places to check out. I understand that some people have had some bad experiences and hope that it all gets worked out soon. I have also heard people complain about this building but don't want to move because they can't find anything as nice. I personally don't work for this building and have no direct connection to anyone in charge, I just understand that for those who are having a good experience most likely wouldn't think to write a review for an apartment building. Anyway I hope this review helps if you are considering looking in this area. It may seem expensive, but when you really look around it is way cheaper then living in the city and you get a lot of space and amenities for the price. read more

66 Main is more than just an apartment, it is a home. The location is very up and coming, reminds me of Williamsburg or even Hoboken. Just a charming and artsy town. New luxury buildings being built every day, along with new restaurants and bars. If you are even considering moving to downtown Yonkers, now is the time! This area will only get more desirable with time. I have been here 5 years and have no plans to leave, it is only going to get better and better. As it is, I walk out of the lobby and there are several restaurants and bars within footsteps. Just waiting for an awesome coffee shop. That is my only complaint. As far as 66 Main goes, I have been living in this building for the last 5 years. I love my apartment, with the dark finishes in the kitchen, washer/dryer and the floor to ceiling windows it really is a gorgeous place to live. The staff is friendly and responsive. The level of service provided by the staff was truly a breath of fresh air -- Incredible really. My father, who had retired down to North Carolina, was looking for a place to have in NY when he came to visit the area, and the level of patience the staff had with us during the whole process is not a common scenario when renting in the Greater NYC area. What I think is funny is I posted a review about how I wasn't happy with the building but they had it flagged because they didn't want the negative publicity and it was removed for being too short. What they didn't realize is that since it was removed for being too short I will go on now and post in detail to make sure its long enough so it will not be removed again. This post will be flagged, he will do whatever he can to hide the truth but if you have questions reach out to me on here I'm more than willing to answer any you may have. I work and live in Yonkers, I LOVE YONKERS. I LOVE the area, and there is no one who will support it more than me but the way I see it this building is bringing a negative light to an amazing city and an amazing area. I'll give some bullet points of what was done: -The building feels like it's put together with cardboard and glue -I had no heat for 4 years (The Geothermal doesn't work the wells are broken) -I had no A/C for 7 years (The Geothermal doesn't work the wells are broken) -The Manager (THE BIGGEST ISSUE) -will try to screw you the best he can Upon moving out you'll be hit with the following -Move out fee -Painting Fee -Security fee -Charges for Window Cleaning (doesn't clean windows) -Charges for Garbage Pick up -Will not give back security (check with attorney general for cases) -Changed my lease after i moved in/forged prev managers signature -Changes dates on checks to charge late fees -Electric fees tripled under him (paid $600 in one month -1BR) -$750yr and $50mo for an ILLEGALY PLACE GRILL (allowed) -Threatens tenants (complain and i'll just evict you or move apt) -Tells other tenants how much you pay (I got yelled at for paying less) -Fires anyone who works with tenants (likes control) -lies about EVERYTHING -Avoids tenants and previous tenants (I caught him too many times) -Drug dealers in building -Offered drugs by tenants who were selling in the elevator -if your dog passes away won't allow you to get another -will enter apartment without notice (neighbor walked in on naked) This is what I can think of off the top of my head. I complained about my heat and ac not working, he avoided me, scheduled appointments to meet me wouldn't show up and would say he is "at corporate" when i would see him running out of the building after i left his office. He would then threaten to switch my apartment to one without a patio because "thats all he is required to do" if I complained to building and housing. Kept trying to force me to have portable heaters and wouldn't fix the built in heat. Finally it got SO COLD THE PIPES FROZE AND BURST. The city inspector cam and CONDEMNED MY APARTMENT. By law when this happens they are required to pay for my move, return security in full, and give me back the month that I couldn't live there. So here's what he did, He gets my "lease" which was different from my copy and on it he forged the initials "AA" next to "no security deposit". When I moved in AA was the manager, and the first month was free. He changed my payments in the system so I paid the first month and the security was waived which wasn't the case. He forged the managers initials in order to not give it back. I reached out to her and she said that there was no way they would let me move in with out security and it was completely false and he forged it. I could have asked for more, I could have asked for more but I asked for bare minimum and wanted to leave and he still tried to rip me off. I promise you he will do WHATEVER HE CAN to steal from you. The owners from the building are great guys and deserve better. The concierge is amazing and will do anything for you, and the assistant manager is a great woman as well, but the manager will steal everything he can from you and if you go to court and win, good luck getting your settlement. If they get rid of him the building would probably be great again, but he's a scam artist. The Goldman family has a better shot of getting their 33.5 million from OJ than you do of getting your security deposit back. If you decide to go against everyone else advice and go with the reviews on here written by his family and friends or those who they tell to sign a lease upon moving in (against yelps policy) good luck. Get everything in writing, save copies, and even then i promise you'll regret it. I lived at 66 main for 4 years and moved in during the original administration. It seemed to be a no brainer since it was so close to the city. There's a basketball court, gym, and doorman service. There are also about 4 restaurants in the area. My only issue was with management and the general lack of safety. There are no original occupants in this building. It's not set up for long term residents. After you one year or 18 month lease is done, they will attempt to raise your rates to "market" price, in my case, from 2500 to 3000. You'll turn have to meet with Landon, have him tell you how lucky you are for being here and he'll drop you to 2800. I'm not sure if Yonkers has a housing structure like Manhattan but I always found it strange that there wasn't a 2% for one year and 4% for 18 month raise, or even a reason why the rent needed to be raised by 20%. But I've paid and paid because I wanted somewhere safe for to live and my wife's the building. The ceilings are concrete so you never hear anyone over you, unless you love on the 7th floor and up. Then you'll hear basketball if anyone is playing. Ok, there's no structure to this review, just putting this all on "paper". The building is in a nice bubble. If you never leave Main Street, you'll be safe. You will have to watch yourself at night when exiting the train as the homeless sleep in he station and teens from the projects across the street do come down to drink. If you do decide to leave the bubble, you'll find that Yonkers is a pretty poor town. A little Baltimore light. I usually just shopped in other Westchester towns. I took advantage of the CVS in town but after you've eaten at the same restaurants 40 times, what's left? Back to 66 main... When we first moved in, we had bugs. We didn't own them and bring them with us, they just moved in on their own. They would come through the drains and we'd have to request extermination. Maintenance tickets would often by closed by Eva with no resolution. We just kept opening more tickets until we got the issue resolved. The garage door was open for months, it was broken. It broke a couple of times. The garage door is also not secure. It can be pushed open without an access key. A couple of cars got broken into but still the door remained open. You can't really complain as in your lease, it's laid out that if your goods get damaged, it's on you. A couple of times, people parked illegal in my spot and the doorman didn't know who it was. They never boot these cars so you'll have to leave a note on the car or park outside until they move. Moving... Your told that you need to have a bonded mover move you in and move you out. Two separate fees. You'll also have to pay a $350 move out/in fee. Yes, 700 bucks. They say it's so that someone can watch the cameras while you move but I've had this fee charged after I moved over a weekend. I've also been charged 1300 as a painting fee for my 2 bedroom. This was after I hired painters to repaint the place. I was charged 150 for trash that was put in the second floor trash room. Overall, my 2500 deposit was cut down to 300 bucks. Blew my mind. But that's a common theme with people that take the time to write a review. People that have actually lived at 66 main. Not the strange random yelp reviewers that I never saw in the building or heard of. A couple of them don't live in Yonkers but they give 5 stars and say they do. Dunno, but that's weird. And they all mention Eva which I thought was odd. But whatever is going on, I actually lived there. And had great friends that have all moved out. If you live on the 3rd and have an outdoor space, your pipes freeze during the winter and you'll have no heat. You'll also have to pay a month grill fee. And a fee for having outdoor furniture. Residents can never change any locks on your doors. Helpful if you get locked out but anyone that works at the building has access to your home. Every month, when you review your rent charges, you will see an extra sheet of paper that tells you how much electricity you have used. This is because so many people complained about being charged a random fee. Once the complaining started, we got a locked down rate for electric. The people at 92 main have con Ed so they Gergen actual read outs. We just got a number but with no info. We've been charged for random things like window cleaning, but never had the Windows cleaned. If you send an email asking about it, your money is refunded. Thought that was weird. Overall, I wish I would moved into the buildings by the water. They are handled by a large corporation and everything is regulated. It's not just some guy making up numbers. There is also no escalation path. There is no number to Managment or no one else to speak to besides Eva or Landon. I've tried. You google the Managment company you write checks to and you'll only find lawsuits that were filled against the buildings owner. And action by the Attorney General. ;( read more

My husband and I lived in the building for one year and had to move due to our expanding family. When asked if we could do a month to month lease while we looked for other options (even in the building), Landon told us that our rent (albeit in the same apartment) would increase by $600 per month. We had no choice but to move. On the day of our walk through after moving out and thoroughly having the apartment cleaned, Eva (the asst manager) attempted to hit us with all types of unconscionable fees ( a movie in fee, painting fee, oven fee, etc). We only paid $500 security deposit, so I was sure they were going to keep that, but was not prepared for them to send us to collections a FULL YEAR after we moved out for charges that are not warranted. They had our forwarding address as we moved only one block away. We paid our rent each month and on time. The shady management and rodent issues are enough to warrant not moving there. Downtown Yonkers is starting to flourish with great housing options. Do yourself a favor and forego the headache. They even kept a $2,000 deposit of someone else we knew who didn't want to put up the fight. Don't do it. read more

The day you go to the management office to get the tour of the available units they all have a big smile on their face and start telling you all these great things about the community and how happy everyone is. Barbara is okay, she shows you the units and does the paperwork. Eva is nice ONLY when you first sign the lease, when you tell them you are moving out and when she is doing the final walk she is a totally different person. Landon is the worst manager ever, its been over 8 months since I've been waiting to get my deposit back and he doesn't return calls, voicemail or emails. The only guy who gave this place 5 stars had a different review months back so I am wondering why he changed it?!?!...Anyhow, if you don't care about losing your 2k deposit and/or the smell of marijuana then this is the place for you. 66 Main in Yonkers is a true gem. Moving to the NYC area was unexpected, but Ms. Colete Jones's and Mr. Landon Cole's knowledge, experience, and caring attitude, helped facilitate the moving process. 66 Main was the first property of approximately 20, that I visited in a 30 mile radius. For the amenities, modern finish, proximity to Manhattan (the Metro is one block away), and parking, the property is excellently priced. The property has a gym, a basketball court, and a public balcony on the 9th floor. It also counts with a 24hr concierge, surveillance cameras, and gated parking. The apartment I leased had been recently remodeled, was spacious, and its view captivated the Hudson River and part of the downtown Yonkers area. The neighbors are young professionals, and noise is not a problem. As property and leasing supervisors, Colete and Landon are attentive to detail and ensure the property is always clean, while seeking ways to upgrade the decor (they recently added monitors in the elevators). They're always approachable should you have a question. Overall, the property makes for a good home, runs smoothly, is a few minutes from Manhattan, and is priced right. read more

I've lived in several complexes throughout my life but this one has been the greatest joy to live in. Great community, kind neighbors, and a wonderful,helpful and friendly staff are the main reason we've stayed for over 3 years. The property manager Landon is a great joy to have in the complex and is a great neighbor and manager. The maintenance crews are friendly and helpful and the few times I've needed their assistance their work was impeccable. I lived in 66 Main for over two years and I had no major issues during my stay. Colete showed me the unit originally and was so amazing and super helpful throughout my stay. There were minor blips during my time at the building - an occasional car parked in my parking spot, 1 or 2 issues with noise from the tenant above - but overall, it was a great place to live. The staff was awesome, the building is well maintained, and the location is ideal for folks who work in the city given it's proximity to the Metro North. Reviewers have complained about the fees upon move out but just read your lease, keep the apartment in good condition, and be kind to the staff. I lived at 66 Main for 1 year before relocating out of state. Had I not landed a job out of state, I would have very happily stayed at 66 Main for a very long time. For reference purposes, I was in a 1BR apt on the 9th floor, with gorgeously breathtaking Hudson River views. My experience with the Management Office (Landon) was always fantastic. I found Landon to be a results oriented manager who was always extremely friendly and responsive to my questions/requests. The apartment itself was amazing. I had 2 walk in closets that were absolutely, positively ENORMOUS. I mean, like, enormous enough that I had a 5x8' area rug in one and my huge double-sided dresser inside another. The closet space alone is unheard of in any rental apartment that I have EVER seen. The beautiful light wood floors, the dark granite counters and stainless appliances really made the place feel quite luxurious. The bathroom was extremely spacious and in-unit w/d was extremely convenient. The complex is a piece of paradise in Yonkers....The front desk staff was great - everyone was super friendly and always helpful. The cleaning crew works very hard and keeps the common areas spotless -- they were very kind and friendly as well. The complex has a surprisingly (for an apt building) fantastic fitness center with gym quality cardio equipment as well as nautilus equipment and free weights -- and who doesn't want to work out overlooking the beautiful Hudson River? My electric bills were extremely efficient (and FAR!!!!!!!!!!!! less than the other complex on the water), my heat worked perfectly as did my central AC. I never saw any bugs anywhere (as other reviews mentioned). Outside my door, my floor was extremely quiet - I felt like I lived in a hotel. And if you commute into NYC, the Yonkers train station across the street is completely priceless. I highly recommend 66 Main, it is a great place to live. read more

If it weren't for a few things, I would definitely give this place one star. I have lived in numerous places, but this is by far one of the worst. Do not let my opinion persuade you, but read the Pro's and Con's and decide for yourself. Pro's: Convenience to Train station and commute in. Door staff is very friendly and polite. Pick-up and drop-off dry cleaning. Gym does not have everything, but enough. Washer and dryer in unit. Secure parking (although I have heard the cameras do not work) Con's: Smoking in apartments is allowed, and travels through vents. Marijuana stench lots of times (I have written notices about this, and every time we get the same printout warning, nothing gets done about it, police have come numerous times). Very noisy at all hours of the day (quiet hours as mandated in lease are not properly enforced) Management is very unresponsive. Always hearing ambulances and police sirens. People that don't live here constantly coming in and out. I rented here before all the reviews were posted. If i was looking to rent now and saw these reviews, I would not have chosen here. When I moved out, Landon Cole, the building manager, claimed that I had not paid a security deposit and refused to return it. When I pointed out that the lease reflected a security deposit, he dismissed it as a "typo." When I wrote him that my bank statements reflected payment of the deposit, he ignored it. Current tenant and I can not wait until my lease is up! I've lived in the building for almost 5 years already and this past year has been the worst that it has been. Management has always been a joke, but since the newest management team entered the building it has gone to shits! it appears as they only care about the rent check at the end of the month instead of renting out to better people to keep the quality of the building. The only reason I give one star because I am not able to give half a star! Front staff is very helpful...Melvin, Steve and Yvonne. The common room and outdoor space is cool. The washer and dryer in the units are old and when one messes up, maintenance replaces it with another old unit from an empty apartment. The cameras in the building do not work except for the 9th floor. Huge safety issue! The neighborhood is not the best so just hope nothing happens because no one will know. The 3rd floor garage door was broken for months. During that time, cars were broken into and things were stolen. Management did nothing about it and did not compensate anyone for there broken car windows. All management said for months was it that they are waiting on a part and the camera was not working in that location so we couldn't see who stole/broken into your car... yeah right because the camera is broken (which are they also waiting for a part). Good luck with sending an email regarding an issue because you will not receive a response. As Richard mentioned, I smell so much marijuana smoke in the hallways and in my apartment its ridiculous. Management response was to put febrezze spray cans in the hallways and a letter about it from management. Someone in the office even told me, that marijuana will be legal soon so I would have to get used to it! The smoke also comes through the vents so if you have your heat or A/C on it will be in your apartment as well! The winter months are approaching so that means the heat will not be working. When the temperature outside dips below a certain degree the pipes freeze and so does your apartment. This has occurred for almost 5 years already and nothing has been done. One year management has to purchase heaters for the tenants, I was one of them, that had to have a heating unit in the living room, both bedrooms, and the bathroom because every week my heating unit was frozen! With all this said, if your looking for a building near transportation, and a nice view, this building is for you. If you also enjoy marijuana, unprofessionalism, dangerous situations, if you have a car that you want broken into, a cold apartment, and dirty clothes... then this the building for you as well. read more

I have been living at 66 Main for more than a year and I love my apt. The location is ideal for those who commute to work and the amenities like the gym and basketball court is a plus. Our concierge Melvin is the best and really helps out whenever he can. Colete Jones is a sweetheart and is very prompt answering my questions and sorting out any issues. No, I wouldn't feel too safe walking on certain blocks after dark but I would be okay within a block and a half radius from the building. There are a lot of great activities that goes on year round downtown and luckily we have front row access to all of it. Not to mention, the view from my apt is amazing! All in all, I have no complaints regarding the building and I don't see myself moving anytime soon. read more

Currently a resident of this building and i can not WAIT until my lease it over. We are looking for a way out. I won't bore you with a long winded post but i will give you the bottom line. Management is HORRIBLE. They will give you 6 different stories, 6 different ways from 3 different people. What they tell you when you move in is completely different from when you ARE moved in. They pressured us to have a certain amount of money to move in, we paid and we had MANY repairs that were needed on the apartment that they said they would do before we moved in and they didn't. It's been 3 months and they still haven't fixed them. We had to ask them over and over and over to take care of some things and just gave up on the minor repairs. We did not receive our garage space until 3 weeks later, although they assured us we would get it the day we moved in. Then they gave us the space but the garage remote wasn't programmed to open and close, that took another 2 weeks. They offered to pay for the garage across the street for that time, i saved my receipts and submitted for reimbursement as they requested, i got nothing back after hounding them and just took the loss. Then they tell us we're past due on our electric bill, meanwhile they NEVER gave us a statement. So now we're 3 months behind however we don't even know who to pay or how much because they never gave us a bill like they said they would. This management company is EXTREMELY unorganized, the doorman can be very rude and the area is very sketchy. We are looking to move ASAP and will try and break out of the lease but i'm sure they're going to charge us an arm and leg for that. Let's not forget the moving fee they charge but at this rate... we're willing to pay what's necessary to get the hell out of here. The only thing i like is the washer/dryer (that took 3 weeks to get although it was supposed to be in the apt when we moved in) and some of the amenities that we can easily find in other lux apt buildings. Don't move here, the turnover rate is mind boggling, no one stays longer than their lease. NEW MANAGEMENT IS NEEDED!!!! read more

STAY AWAY!!! I'm still currently living at 66 Main Street in a penthouse and the building keeps getting worse and worse. I have been here 4 years and can't wait to get out!!! All you smell is weed on ever floor. My license plate was stolen off my vehicle in the garage and management referred me to my lease basically telling me they have NO responsibility of what happens in the parking lot or in the building. This building is an upgraded version of the projects!!! The gym lock has been broken for years. Anyone can enter the building (garage is always left open) the take the elevator to the 9th floor and walk right into the gym for a FREE workout. This is the second building I'm living in where Colette Jones is managing (first being Hudson Park) she seems to be the common denominator in the buildings turning to garbage!!! Don't waste your hard earned money here...take your chances at one of the newer buildings like the Apex or Hudson Parks new tower. read more

I went to see the studio and one bedroom March 23,2016. I loved the look of this 66 main street. The problem was the bad review on management. I left were I lived for twenty years because of horrible management. I was offered a one bedroom that came with a parking spot. I would be very angry if my car got broken into at an assigned indoor parking were the cameras aren't working and mgr.will not have to pay for anything stolen or broken...The apt. was located on the third floor. I believe the electricity and heat is an additional fee-about $100?? The THREE STARS are given to Colette-her patients and addressing my concerns.. I was very excited after the tour she gave me and I left to not only think thing over but I remembered reading these bad reviews and was hoping it was not 66 main street-Yonkers . Great experience as a transferring tenant from a studio to 1 bedroom! Eva was very professional and personable as she always is: not only did she find me something right away, she allowed a 3 day early move in time WITHOUT ANY EXTRA FEES. As a pharmacist, I work with people on a day to day basis; I know good, honest people when I see them. With that being said, my experience from the doorman Melvin, Roland, etc to the Super, cleaning staff all the way up to management- Eva Rosenfield has been exceptional. I have never experienced any rodent issues and I have been there for a year thus far, everyone is friendly and most importantly as a young single female I feel SAFE. Not to mention, the building is beautiful and clean. Thanks management for all your help, it's been a pleasure and I look forward to working with you further in this upcoming year. My wife and I are going on 4 years living at 66 main and Metro 92. The management team and staff here have been very accommodating and hospitable. Landon and Eva both keep an open door policy and have been available whenever we have an issue or question. Our family has gotten bigger so when it came time to move, Eva and Landon helped us find the perfect spot for us at Metro 92.The building link system is also a great way to post questions, comments, and concerns. The reply is typically prompt. Eddie the building super, is amazing and takes care of issues promptly. Melvin at 66 Main is another rock star and is always willing to help or go out of his way to make sure you feel at home. We love being so close to pier and restaurants, not to mention the metro north can have you in midtown in 25mins! I don't write many reviews however I feel the team at Main st lofts certainly deserves a 5 star rating for their hard work. There is always room for improvement and No place is perfect, but I feel that the effort to make it perfect for us is definitely a priority for management here. read more

I've lived at 92 main for 3 years. I was and i still am extremely happy with the space in my unit. There is No where in NY that can offer the space along with the affordability. The building is quiet and well kept. Being a block away from the waterfront is amazing, along with the great restaurants within walking distance. I've referred two friends to the building who are also very happy. Building management has been great as well. Everything I've asked for has been taken care of expeditiously and the building continues to improve. In addition, due to a recent business decline and life changing family issues it's been a real struggle financially for a few months. The property managers Landon and Eva have been EXTREMELY accommodating and helpful during this process. I will be here for years to come..... Great people, great place, that's all you can ask for !!! read more

The area is a disaster... crime all over... even shootings. I was going to move in there a while ago. I've waited until now... over a year to write this. In my opinion they are just like every other corp management. All they want is your money.... these people are just as bad as Avalon. I played dumb, even though I was born and raised in South Yonkers. Basically they lied through their teeth. The apartment was small... like most in there, and WAY over priced for the area. I'm telling you that these apartments are going for twice what other apartments in better areas of Yonkers are going for. I will point out that my only reason was the train proximity. However I should also point out that people who live in the better parts of Yonkers avoid Getty Square like it was radioactive... NO ONE goes there except the locals. I've heard plenty of horror stories about this management... move out fees... clean up fees. I'll tell you what 66, you own it then you clean it, you're lucky people don't sue you, or maybe they are. If the management owes you money, they will ride it out at least a month or so... why.... because of interest. read more

I have been at 66Main 2 years and 2 months. I most enjoy the feeling of community in living here. My own experience has been 4th floor, I can say hello and good morning and get an equivalent response. :-) I have not noticed anyone smoking anything on my floor. I'm allergic to smoke so that is important to me. At the front desk, Melvin, Roland and Mike always go out of the way to help me get through the day. Mike was the first person I met when I drove to Yonkers arriving around 4 am. He was able to help me decide what to do even that early. They do try to make living here a pleasant experience. I selected my apartment with Ayda and Landon and I now work more with Coléte and Eva. Sometimes there are issues, but they have always worked it out for me in the long run. The indoor parking has been a huge benefit for me, although there are those who don't respect the parking rules from time to time, it is usually resolved more quickly now. My apartment had a few problems getting started here, but I now have excellent appliances! I found this to be a great place to start living in New York City, the Trains and Buses are a few blocks away. Post office is next door, the DMV (if you drive) 3 blocks away. The renovations just keep getting better around Main street in Yonkers. There are many cultural events to share. We also have a few yearly meetings with government and police officials that I found very valuable to living here. I hope more people will agree with this experience going forward!!
