If I could give more stars I would!! I was looking at multiple places to take some old family video tapes to have converted into digital files. I emailed with them a lot of questions. They responded quickly and answered all of my questions in great detail. I got my videos back yesterday and they came out great!! I can't thank them enough for restoring some precious family memories. I'll be bringing more tapes in the future! read more

621 Productions did an excellent job converting my old VHS tapes to digital. The quality came out better than I expected, and they handled some pretty fragile, decades-old tapes with real care. Communication was clear, turnaround time was reasonable, and the whole process was easy from start to finish. It was such a relief to finally preserve these memories in a modern format. Highly recommend 621 Productions if you're looking to convert VHS to digital the right way. read more

Similar to another reviewer, I had five very old VHSs that I had held on to for many years with no idea what was on them. My mother died when I was a kid suddenly in an accident 13 years ago and my Hope was that maybe I could see her on one of them. I got so much more than I could have imagined; her voice and seeing her in action again was so heartwarming. I got closure I never knew I needed and was able to provide the same to my siblings. This service is so valuable. 621 did such a great job digitizing these tapes for me. They were friendly, easy to work with, and called us regarding an issue with one tape in our order to see if we wanted to move forward with it. The quality was amazing, even for one of the videos from back in 1988. read more

Brought all my old tapes of my now 30 year old to have transferred so I can share with his daughter and preserve them forever.

WHAT A GIFT!!!! Getting my 30+ year old dance videos transferred has been such a gift. My kids loved being able to watch them and it was wonderful to be able to share this important part of my life with my husband and kids. I honestly was afraid to put them in the VCR in case they got damaged. Nice to know that they'll be around for my grandkids to watch too. Thank you for offering such a wonderful service and for your quick turnaround time and overall fabulous service. read more

We did a complex project--56 minute slide show with over 3,000 family photos (8 generations). Jack was great helping us through the process and the end product is a home run. I'd recommend 621 without reservation. read more

The couple owners are awesome. They will spend the time with you to be sure you get what you are asking for.

They did an excellent job with some audio tapes that are very important to me. They improved the sound quality and made separate CD's that were easy to download on my computer. read more

They made a digital copy of a 30 year old audio tape from my childhood. The price was reasonable, the service was professional and I could not be happier with the final product. Plus, they treated my very old tape with great care. Its hard entrusting something so cherished into someone else's hands. I will definitely be a returning customer. read more

During a recent, personal undertaking of transferring several home movie VHS tapes, 9 mm films, slides, and 3.5 inch floppy media to digital format; I ran into the issue of not having the correct devices required. I took to the web and Google searched for small businesses with good ratings for help. Sure the big retailers and drug stores can do the same thing, but the prices I found were about the same and shipping was not required. The personal attention to my project and friendly staff at Home Video Studio reminded me that I had made the right choice going with them. See you all again REEL soon! read more

I am satisfied with the end product and the owners are very pleasant with which to work. We had a miscommunication on how this industry prices the DVD duplication fees but the confusion was easily and quickly rectified within one business day. In short, DVDs are priced on an individual basis. For example if your job creates 3 DVDs and you want 3 complete copies you need to ask for 9 copies. Peter was very nice to work with and I would go back for future jobs. I found Peter eager to be sure his customers are satisfied. His original job estimate price was accurate and did not change. read more

I found 53 boxes and multiple notebooks of family slides, videos and audio tapes during my sorting through my parents' house after they died. My siblings and I had never seen or heard any of these precious records of our family life. I researched on the web and almost shipped things away to have them digitized. I am so glad I didn't. I found Home Video Studio-Apex and trundled my family's treasure trove (2800 slides in all) to Brooke and Jack. They did a fantastic job. Their work was careful, everything was labeled correctly, the resulting digital product was incredible. I recommend them to anyone considering entrusting irreplaceable slides, photographs, films and cassette recordings to a company. To top it off, they are genuine, caring and compassionate. They understand what it means to hand over important artifacts to a stranger. I simply can't say enough good things about these people and their earnest, good work. Don't hesitate. This is the right place. read more

621 Productions created a 57 minute video of me doing a Civil War presentation with my PowerPoint slides. I had given this presentation several times in the past. I do the presentation in costume and in first person. If it were not for errors on my part and if I had taken a few acting lessons I believe this video would look like something on PBS. 621 Productions did another 47 minute video of me presenting some of my Civil War research with my PowerPoint slides. As with the first this production exceeded all of my expectations. 621 Productions improved a 10 minute video of Civil War pictures set to music that I created. Jack turned my "Amateur Hour" work into a polished, professional presentation. My first video required five edit sessions due to my errors. Jack was able to seamlessly replace spoken words and slides to correct my errors. I am looking forward to my next project with 621 Productions. No matter your project, 621 Productions should be your first stop to see what they can do. I know if 621 Productions can handle my next project I am not going to go anyplace else. read more

If I could, I would give this place a million stars. Memories are obviously so important to all of us, but we usually record them on formats that can corrupt over time and let's be honest, sit in the back of a closet for ages. It's been seven years since my dad died and I am in the process of moving. I unearthed nine precious video 8 tapes having no clue what was on them besides some odd labels my dad had scribbled on them. I could only afford to convert 4 right now and it was worth every single penny. One of the tapes dated back to July 1992 when I was 4! I could not believe they were able to get anything off the tape (it's 23 years old!) but what they got (which was a day at the beach) made me happy/sad cry for the entire video. I finally have video footage of me and my dad and can hear his voice! The DVD quality is GREAT and so straightforward (you pop it into your DVD player and hit play... No crazy menu-submenu-chapter menu to try to get to your memories). I have made it through watching two of the DVDs, am so pumped to watch the other 2 and cannot wait to have the money to do the other 5 tapes. It is so hard trusting someone with your one copy of your media that holds precious memories, but this place handled everything wonderfully and I cannot recommend them enough!!!! An extra note, I dropped my items off and was given a day they were supposed to be completed by; this place called me 4 days before my DVDs were supposed to be finished to let me know they were already done! read more
