we booked a double, private room with bathroom ensuite, and found it perfectly suited to our needs. quietly tucked away in the centro storico, 6 Small Rooms is close to museums, castles, dining, and the metro, with pompeii, herculaneum, capri & the amalfi coast a short distance away. our room was clean, with new towels and bedding, and a vase of fresh flowers on the windowsill. a fully-equipped kitchen provided the option to make our own meals or take advantage of a lovely continental breakfast of fresh bakery bread with butter and jam, fresh fruit, and freshly-made espresso. wi-fi worked in the room, though two common areas provided space to relax, share ideas with fellow travelers, and leaf through a collection of travel guides. the price was the most reasonable of all the accommodations on our trip, and we felt that the staff genuinely cared about our comfort and satisfaction with our stay. do keep in mind that the building is very old, as are most of the buildings in the area, and there are several flights of stairs to climb. with all the pizza and gelato we consumed, however, we appreciated the exercise. we will most certainly return the next time we visit naples. read more
