I have gotten almost every single service here but the one that I do on a consistent basis is my nose (I don't know what it is but I need that done lol). I always have a different tech and I think this most recent time I got Anette (?) and she was just awesome. I walked in there and said I want it all gone, every single hair lol and she made sure to get every single one. I think I've gotten so many nose waxes at this point that I am immune to pain but I've never had any issues. The store is clean and cute, always smells good. I've never had any issues. If you are having booking issues.. just call them, it makes it so much easier. The online tool is convenient but not easy to edit (in my opinion) and calling just always is a safe bet.

First of all, upon my arrival at the doorway, he was sweeping and had a phone between his ear and shoulder. Without looking at me to acknowledge I was there, he held up his pointer finger at me to tell me to wait/hold on. Not my idea of a warm welcome, but I am a believer in giving people the benefit of a doubt. I booked an appointment through his website and in order to do so you have to enter a credit card. I went to my appointment and we decided it would take more than the time we had scheduled to do what I really wanted and we'd have to reschedule. I said I would reschedule later when I could be in front of a computer to move things around on my busy schedule. That night I received a $100 no-show fee. I called him and he told me that I should've rebooked with him when I was in there then he wouldn't have had to charge me a no-show fee. I showed up for my appointment so a no-show should not have been applicable, and if he was planning on charging me that, he should have told me when I was in there so we could've rescheduled. Instead, he chose to be passive aggressive and charge me after I left. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company.

The salon is a small space in a mega building full of other stylists. I've never been to a place like that before, so I looked up Rodney's space on the directory and went to the his salon area. He was on the phone when I got there and gave me the "I'll be with you in a minute finger" as he was on the phone. No biggie, I'll just wait. A minute later, he opened the door and snippily asked me to go wait in the waiting area as he was on a VERY important phone call. I almost left after that because I had a bad feeling, but whatever, I already paid, so I decided to stick it out. After I finally got seated and told him what I wanted (and was told that toning would be extra, which wasn't stated in the Groupon nor have I ever paid extra for that). He then proceeded to have me prep all of the foils that were going to be used. WTF? I get that it speeds the process up, but really? The whole time he was foiling, I felt like he was trying to rush through the whole thing...like I was being an inconvenience for being there. It wasn't even close to closing time, so I don't understand the rush. Also of note, he had to stop to take another phone call (from the same person) to figure out billing issues. Not cool. I had to sit through him asking why my hair was SO long, him basically telling me that I was too old to be using cheap shampoo (but offered up no products as suggestions--also, I'm 34, so it's not like I'm ancient), and him JUST DYING to cut off my bad hair, but having no time to do it. Wow. The color turned out okay, but the toner faded after 2 weeks (and I was NOT using cheap shampoo). 1.5 stars, and that's being generous.
