My husband brought our vehicle in for a simple tire patch. Instead of focusing on the repair, they aggressively tried to sell him four new tires that he did not need. He declined and asked them to simply change the oil and put the car back together. When he got the vehicle back, the front tire had been inflated to over 80 PSI, which is far above the recommended pressure. Even worse, by the time we got home, all of the engine oil had drained out of the car after the oil change. This could have resulted in catastrophic engine damage or even a serious safety hazard. After talking with a colleague, I learned they had a very similar experience at the Peachtree City location, which makes me concerned that this may not be an isolated incident. These kinds of practices could cost someone their life. We believe the over inflated tire was intentional. I would avoid this place completely.

I called them and they told me to bring it in, to see if they had missed something or something was left undone. my husband was at the Taco Bell and we asked for a tow truck, they said okay, but if it was their fault we wouldn't have to pay for it but, if it was something else other than what they were fixing, we'd have to pay the towing. the owing fee was $150... from Taco Bell, to the shop. it wasn't even that far. my husband ended up asking help to push the car. we get a call the next day, that the car is ready. we come in, they said "alright, take it". didn't get charged or get any explanation. second incident, my husband brings in his 2015 Chevy Silverado. it needs breaks changed on all 4. tell me why it's $2,000 ?? what do we do, we bring all the parts. the brakes and brake pads and router, and caliber. just for the labor it was $700? which is crazy, cause my husband kept going back and forth with them. they kept telling him they weren't the right breaks, or pads, and my husband comes to talk to the machanic and he's like "oh sorry, we haven't even opened the boxes or looked at them" NEVERMIND, $680 to change one set of breaks, router and caliber. FUCKING CRAZY. I'm sorry but, they need better communication skills, and they take sooo long to get things done.

The staff insisted this was the only option, and they removed the engine cover during the process. Thankfully, we sought a second opinion from a trusted mechanic and took the car to Legacy in McDonough, where we were told an engine replacement was completely unnecessary. The issue turned out to be a known and documented problem with that engine model (supported by a Ford service bulletin), not a catastrophic failure. Legacy handled the fix properly, professionally, and at a fraction of the quoted cost. When we contacted Alpha Automotive about the removed engine cover, they did apologize--but that didn't change the fact that we were nearly misled into an expensive, unnecessary repair. Our recommendation: Always get a second opinion, especially when faced with high-cost diagnostics. This experience raises concerns about transparency and trustworthiness. Consumers deserve honesty, not what appears to be pressure tactics or oversight.

After getting towed home on a Sunday, I called and left a message for Alpha Automotive about my situation. The next morning Shannon from Alpha Automotive called me. My Expedition was picked up by a tow truck noon that day. After diagnosing the problem, it was fixed by Wednesday morning. I picked it up that afternoon. I drove the vehicle a few hours to get some errands done and it was stalling (misding) a little. Thursday morning I took it back to Alpha, they put it on the diagnostic machine, in an hour they had fixed my vehicle, and I was back on my way. I got in to a minor accident and needed to get 3 quotes. I tried to work with the owner of the company that I got in the accident with and Alpha and they could would work out the payment arrangement. Big mistake. I visited Alpha for the initial quote which I received. They were going to order the part and let me know when I arrived. I went back about a month later. They looked in the system, said that there was note and he said he would have to call me back. So I left. Another month went by and I did the same thing and left with the same result. My guess and its just that, the owner of the company that cause the accident and Alpha got together and decided not to work with me. I don't know. Only my mirror was damaged after a work truck crossed into my lane and decided not to stop. I filed a police report and I should have just called a lawyer. Lesson learned. Thanks for nothing Alpha. Too much time passed and now will have to replace my own mirror and I accept my mistakes for not stay on both companies.
