Back in December of last year, I came to interview for a job in Van Wert, OH. I had little knowledge of the area, I was born and raised in Miami, FL and I have lived in its county my whole life. I was able to get to Van Wert in an Uber from Fort Wayne... but when I was looking to see the night before I left back to Miami if I could order an Uber to take me back to Fort Wayne Airport, I found out they didn't service the area! They will take you to Van Wert... but they won't pick you up from Van Wert. I started frantically trying to look up taxi companies and couldn't find any online or no one who would call me back. Thankfully the front desk person at the Holiday Inn told me there was a taxi company that came there once and dropped off business cards. I found the card and called. Hallelujah! They agreed to pick me up! It may have been slightly more expensive than an Uber, but it got me where I needed to go! I have since used it a few times as my family currently only owns one car and we need to buy a second. It's definitely become my way to get to Fort Wayne Airport. Being able to get a taxi company to come pick you up in Van Wert at 4:00 am especially is not easy! So I am thankful this taxi service does the job!

Although the cab was the nastiest car I have ever rode in and I'm now sitting at the airport smelling like a ashtray. I travel a lot for work and this was hands down the worst car ever. They aslo charge me a flat rate of $35 for a 20 minute ride when I could have got a Uber at the time for $16. Looking back I should have just cancelled upon seeing and smelling the car but didn't want to be rude. They couldn't even pay me $35 to ride in the car now. I'm embarrassed to even sit next to anyone at the airport and I feel sorry for whoever has to sit next to me on the plane. At 7:32, I called to ensure the driver was on his way, and the dispatcher called to find out where the car was only to find out he was still at least 20 minutes away. I understand things happen, however, I got no apology, just a list of excuses and the claim that she has no control over the cars.  What Limousine company has no control over their cars' schedule?   I typically use three rivers limousine, however when I called them previously, they were honest and told me that they did not have availability. I was forced to drive to the airport, pay for parking, and hope that the weather isn't lousy while I'm gone, which is the primary reason I request limousine service to the airport in the winter. Again, I can be forgiving of errors, however, when I call, and am extremely polite (initially), and only get a list of excuses, this is completely unacceptable.  I will ensure to avoid A-1 limousine in the future, and will ensure I provide warning to my colleagues if they need to be somewhere important at a given time.
