We chose the suggested shutter size for our plantation shutter home upgrade. Instead of paying additional fees to expedite the custom made order, we waited about 7 weeks for our shutters to be made. Installation day came and Simon arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job removing our existing blinds and curtains, then professionally installing the custom plantation shutters. *in addition to doing a professional installation job, Simon was also client focused and friendly. As it happened, they had a cancellation on the afternoon that I called, and they came out that afternoon. It was a pleasure to deal with Preston and Jorge. They did beautiful work. Hannah, the receptionist, was also efficient and very courteous. They re-plumbed everything for the washing machine, and also took care of a problem with the shower and two hoses at the water heater. Much has been said about the high prices of Area Plumbing. For the type of work that was done, the amount of time it took, and the materials, I did not regard the price as too high. However, they looked at some other plumbing in my home, told me the price to make repairs, and it seemed high. The other work is not urgent, and I will do some price comparisons before making a decision. They charge a $98.00 evaluation fee, which is non-refundable and which will not be included into your total amount. This is a separate charge.
