Walk-ins are welcomed. Just hope you are perceived as a walk in. In my experience I was confused for a regular that they've seen a lot and assumed I was waiting on a particular barber. I Walked in at 2:20pm today Sunday, they had 5-6 barbers cutting. By 3:13pm down to 3 barbers cutting. Myself being still the only one customer waiting. By 3:45pm my cut is done with precise experienced perfection. My hair typically takes longer to cut. The excuse I've always been given is that my hair being curly grows out in different directions which makes a low cut fade harder to execute quickly. I've had barbers take from an hour to TWO HOURS just for a low cut fade. Chris (The lobster) knocked it out of the park in 25mins. I was shocked at how he made my cut with such ease. It's a relief to know that I don't need to feel like I have a cheese grater pressed against my head in order to get a decent cut. Truly impressed. Will return certainly highly recommend.

I started taking my son to this barbershop because it is very convenient for me living close by with the grocery store right next door. Soooo fustrating!!! They cut hair well but the wait is killer! I am considering now a new barbershop that is on time and professional with their clients. This place is located in the crossings and have other stores around.

The worst haircut I have ever received in 55 years... I should have known, the place was filthy, hair blown all over the floor. There was no one to greet you or help and the bathroom was disgusting. The only reason why I came to this place, they were open late and I'm flying out for a business trip in the am. I told the barber, use number #2 on the sides and number #3 on the top and taper the sides so it blends. He used a number 2 on my head and he left me bald. I'm embarrassed to present myself, BALD. My hair is easy to cut. I would have done a hell of a lot better. Stay away from this filthy place...

Awesome barbershop, always have a great experience and all the guys listen to what haircut I like. I get a mid fade with scissors on top and they always nail it. Sometimes I walk in or I book online with their Google booking system when I plan ahead. Highly recommend read more

Was at my local shopping center so saw a barbershop here and it was time for a haircut. Walked in and was greeted by one of the barbers in the front. Told him I didn't have an appointment but I'll wait as a walk in. I waited 10 minutes then sat right down, not bad for a nice place how this looked. The barber asked me what I wanted and actually listened which is good as a first timer. My cut came out great and I was satisfied with his customer service. Great service from beginning to end. We came in while on the area and decided to come and asked if they have any availability. They looked like they were getting ready to close shop , but still took care of my boys. Our barber was professional and patient with both of my boys. I've been taking my son here to cut his hair for about 4 years and the experience has always been positive. This barbershop is far from ever being empty. It is always full of customers no matter what barber is there. The price is average for a cut but everyone is professional and take their time with the customer. Our usual barber is Luke. He is outstanding and very nice. He is great with my son and you can tell he has a lot of experience cutting hair. He is patient and knows how to entertain my child while he cuts his hair. Usually he puts cartoons on or talks to him. We also see another barber Steven because Luke is very busy but he is just as good and professional. My hubby also cuts his hair here regularly and he loves it. He's been going here since it opened. I would recommend it to all. I read some of the other reviews. There is sometimes a wait here. It's worth it though. Try to call ahead and make an appointment. You still may have to wait. read more

5 star cuts is a premium Barbershop. The artistic abilities of these local barbers is above the rest in the local Kendall area. I have been a customer of 5 star since inception. The love they show to their clients and walk-ins is professional and attentive. There's always someone cleaning the shop throughout the day. The location is perfect and in the heart of west Kendall. Publix and other shopping locations as well as restaurants are located within walking distance. What is great about this particular barbershop is that they always have the same barbers working and don't usually change staff. They should change the name to 1 Star cuts. I've come here a couple times on Sunday, and they Always show up late to open. Then they will have 1 barber for 5 or 6 waiting, and then tell you to wait because he has an "appointment" who shows up 15 min late as well. When you ask if others are showing up, they have no clue or "maybe in 45 min". Plain and Simple, BAD BUSINESS MODEL!! read more

I have a 2 1/2 year old son who I've brought here since he was 7 months old. His barber is calm, patient and playful making my son feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is clean. The barbers wear masks and keep the place looking clean. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Stumbled upon this place while picking up food next door. I was surprisingly impressed. Walked in some guy said hello and told me they'd attend to me in 10 minutes. Place seemed busier than that so i didnt mind waiting plus last time i walked into an empty barbershop i had a bad experience, i rather wait. I have curls so my hair is hard to cut but the guy did a good job considering he's never cut my hair. Id come back next time im in the area read more

Neat spot. Was in the area for a work meeting and had extra time to stop by so went to try them out. Haircut came out great. It's Monday so luckily it wasn't too busy, waited 10 minutes then sat down. Barber knew how to cut hair by how he explained my haircut. I've been here twice. First time I would have probably give it a 3 stars. My barber then was good just didn't know how to work the blade that great. Second time here and i will go home to shave off my beard even tho I have a rash cause the don't use any shaving gel. Just spray alcohol on your face read more

I used to settle for hair cuttery and/or super cuts because that's what I was most comfortable with until one day I wanted a haircut at around 9 pm and no one with adequate ratings was open other than 5 Star Cuts. It was a great decision to go to their barbershop and I have never been anywhere else ever since. Actually, because I like their cuts so much, I get a hair cut every two weeks. Before I used to get my hair cut every 3 weeks. The team is extremely friendly and you do feel like they take their time to ensure that you have a great hair cut. A big plus is that the place feels very welcoming. They don't have the walls packed with products like others do. Instead, they have TV's playing sports games at all times. I HIGHLY recommend 5 Star Cuts. Keep it up guys! read more

Luke is a genius--best in the business--and 5 Star Cuts Barbershop is truly a hidden gem. I moved back to Miami from Chicago in 2013, and was recommended to Luke by a close friend. I figured, if my friend was willing to travel from 30 minutes away to get his cut with Luke, he must be doing something right. Upon getting my hair cut with Luke, I get it. The man is a master at his craft, and a perfectionist who takes the time to ensure that every cut is consistently crisp. This is a great barber shop. So happy I found it next to my sons karate class. My son is 4. And comes out with a great cut. Barber Jeral is awesome. He just came from PR. Luke the owner runs a great place that meets the needs of all ages. My husband went in today and took my son. He was suddenly surprised with two prepaid cuts. Apparently a previous customer left the owner $$ to pay forward to a guest. My husband left astonished and humbled. We will be definitely going back and also paying it forward to the kind generosity of a person who started this. I am very appreciative and humbled by this experience. read more

Our toddler is autistic and haircuts are a torturous experience. We were recommended 5 star cuts. Picasso the Barber is a true artist. 5 Star Cuts Barbershop started in a smaller Miami location in 2007 and then was relocated to a bigger store front in the Crossings location in 2013. It started off with only 5 chairs and then was expanded to 14 barber chairs. Throughout the years the business has been able to build and maintain the loyalty of the customers. I noticed his attention to detail as he worked on a client's cut, carefully measuring and outlining each section of the hair. The client looked completely relaxed, clearly enjoying the experience. Raúl introduced me to Eduardo, who took on the challenge of impressing me with his scissor skills (yes, I only get scissor cuts), as I prefer a classic style. As I described what I wanted, Eduardo understood right away. He then guided me to the wash station, where the shampoo felt like a refreshing massage, perfect for cooling down the Miami summer heat. The pleasant scent of the product (which everyone else also acknowledged) lasted a couple of days after, even after already washing my hair. To enhance the experience, he offered drinks ranging from whiskey and beer to a traditional Venezuelan holiday drink called "Ponche Crema" (known as "Coquito" in Miami, or Nutmeg in the rest of the world). The Ponche brought a wave of nostalgia, it tasted just as I remembered from holidays back home. Eduardo continued with calm precision, cutting my hair step by step, checking in to ensure I was happy with the length and flow. That level of care really stood out, most barbers don't take the time, which has often left me disappointed. Eduardo's method and technique made it clear that he's not just skilled but truly passionate about his craft. The master barbers and hair stylists at Jaxson are professional, experienced and deliver the five-star service you would expect from a space this beautiful. The design is a combination of old-world London men's club, California mega-mansion man cave, and Brooklyn tailor shop. Believe me -- it works. I like ambiance and this place has it in spades. No one walks in here and doesn't think they're not in a place for men. The shame of it all is that this place listed under Men's Salons or Barber Shop because while it certainly it is that it's also a top shelf bespoke clothing store and full-service tailor shop. It would almost certainly earn five stars under those categories. First, I brought my own clothing to be tailored. The work was done fast and to perfection!! The tailor shop is right there for all to see. It's almost a museum exhibit to the good ole fashioned men's tailor shop. This isn't some seamstress with a sewing machine tucked into the corner of some dry-cleaning spot. These are real tailors, men and women, who have the space, equipment and experience to do the kind of tailoring that you can't find anymore. Second, the bespoke custom clothing sold here is no joke. This is the finest fabrics from the best mills truly custom tailored. I ordered a suit and a variety of shirts is different styles. I was half expecting the stuff you get at places like SuitSupply or Indochino. Boy, was I surprised!! I own Kiton, Brioni, Zegna and Canali. I also own custom made suits from several places including the "tailor to the presidents" in Brooklyn. So I know quality when I see (and feel) it. The shirts and the suits are better than anything I've custom ordered. They rival the clothing I've purchased in Saville Row in London and Rue Honoré in Paris (humble brag, I know). In other words, this is the best men's custom clothier in South Florida hands down. Christian (the owner) and Alex deliver the exceptional service and fitting that befits the quality of the clothing. These guys know their stuff and they look the part. These guys don't just talk the talk - they walk the walk. In other words, they look like a million bucks and so will you if, like me, you become a customer for life. Truly a six-star men's destination in Miami.

Lesson learned not every seamstress is highly trained. Most in fact are sloppy. Adriana has attention to detail and a lifetime of experience. She's truly a professional. I also learned seamstress here do not get commission, just a base salary so if you value the high quality work, tip is always appreciated.

I've been going to 5 star cuts for about 5 years now. I'll start off by saying that the atmosphere in the barber shop is very welcoming to all. This isn't Hialeah donde la ciudad progresa, so no need to worry about running into shorty who you faught back in high school and still rocks that gold chain and white Tee up on his Instagram 10 years later. The Barbers are all friendly and professional. Very Swaggy, young fellas. Being that their is a Karate school right next to the barber shop, you have your little rugrats running around in the plaza karate chopping like Bruce lee so it's safe to say if your a young, hip, daddio like most of my friends, you can bring your kid and kill two birds with one stone. But don't get it twisted, this ain't Supercuts either so you ain't getting a lollipop after your cut papa. My barber is JJ. I go religiously once a week to cut my hair (keep in my mind I live in the heart of south beach so I'm making a very lengthy ride every week) He goes by appointments so I shoot him a text in the morning and he books me at whatever time is good for me. Always works around my hectic schedule. In very rare occasions if JJ is out of town or not available I'll cut my hair with Luke who also cuts hair like a boss. Being that I'm single, very fashion forward, and always out and about ( yes I'm that guy you've seen making appearances in your friends snap chats ) it's very imperative that I maintain looking fresh at all times. Jj has never failed me, ever once. He always ends the cut (using a blade) with a perfect, on point tape that makes me look like that handsome son of a devil you've seen around Miami. The cost is affordable and never to packed. 5 star cuts deserves a 5 star review! While pressed for time, I wandered into this barbershop completely by accident. Most of the barbers have a large volume of clientele and appointments; however given my lack of time, these guys had me in and out. I appreciate local businesses that specialize in customer service. I have been coming to this barbershop since it opened its doors. My go-to barber is Anthony but I have had the chance to get a haircut from everyone and they are all very professional barbers and you can tell they have quality experience.l cutting all types of hair. Its a bit loud and intimidating at times but its a barbershop and the 2 barbers in the from Lucas and JJ are very friendly and make you feel welcomed.
