I had a terrible experience with Botox a few years ago due to a naturally low brow/ something that Dr. Ellern immediately noticed. I couldn't be more happy with the filler results. As many of you have probably done, you've freaked yourself out and read/viewed photos on RealSelf and other sites of breast reconstruction/augments/lifts, etc. I saw some gnarly crooked thick scars that have been done to patients by other doctors. Whew, it can really be scary because these breast surgeries are not semi-permanent. But Dr. Tutela absolutely changed my life. I waited until he left the room to cry because I was so emotional and happy. Whatever I needed after surgery, he did it. When he took the tape off my incisions yesterday, my mother and I were in awe of how teeny-tiny all the incisions were! And how PRECISE they were. Even Jessica at the front desk (Livingston office) greets you with respect and a huge smile. I think she's new there but it also goes to show that Dr. Tutela also cares about how his patients are treated in the appointment making/care process. I've seen some other doctors and their front desk staff weren't up to par. Ohhhh and, they give you a cute comfy white robe in your post-opp appointment. So cute! Not a plastic robe that you usually get to cover yourself. I started my commute from NYC to the Verona location, but found it odd I never received a reminder -- so I called, only to learn that my appointment was never actually booked, despite scheduling it over the phone 2.5 weeks ago. They managed to squeeze me in later in the day with Megan. However, when I arrived just five minutes past their 10-minute grace period (after calling ahead to let them know I'd be slightly late), I was told I had missed my appointment and the most she could offer was a conversation -- not the actual service. I found this incredibly disappointing and frustrating, especially given the effort it takes to travel from NYC without a car, and the fact that I've been a loyal client for years. It's unfortunate to end things on this note, but I can no longer recommend Montclair Rejuvenation Center after today's experience.

I first became a patient of Dr. Downie 16 years ago when I was living in NJ and her office was at another location in Montclair. I needed a doctor who specializes in the treatment of African skin, which easily scars and hyperpigments. A few customers in my hair braider's shop recommended her. Dr. Downie successfully treated my melasma because I have not since had a recurrence. Dr. Downie is both my medical and cosmetic dermatologist. I drive over and hour and a half from Eastern Long Island to see her. She has performed on me many cosmetic procedures, which beautify my skin. I use the skin and hair products she recommends. My scars have reduced significantly, and my hair is now growing like wildfire. I have never received more compliments from strangers about my image. All staff are friendly and professional. I will continue patronizing Image Dermatology because of the stellar treatment that I get here.
