As in this example of not having enough time to shop at Twisted Hearts when I discovered it during a stop in Sheridan. This is a treasure of a specialty boutique store for the creative and creative at heart. Lovely yarns for knitting and crafting (Lydia L where are you?), home accessories like candles and pillows and wonderful big latte cups with saucers that could double up for serving soup, clothing, personal care items like colorful hair clips and fabulous bath products. Some things are local and others artisan focused national brands. Such friendly people work here and they are very happy to answer questions and point you in the right direction but are not at all pushy. Located downtown right next door to Red Velvet Bakery and I discovered Twisted Hearts when we went to Red Velvet for breakfast given the stores are interconnected and open up to each other. (Which means the same beautiful old wood floors are in Twisted Hearts so be sure to look down as your browse about.) Sadly, I lacked the time to shop there as I wanted to and stay on my schedule. They felt crushed. My husband had to go down and help them get it all figured out. She talked down to him and told us exactly what we can spend in the store with the certificate with tax, he told her they can buy what ever they want no matter the certificate dollar amount and we will pay the difference. The girls quickly picked out a shirt each and we left. I have spent a lot of money in this store and to treat 2 young girls trying to shop and spend money in her store was uncalled for and very unprofessional. I will never shop at this store again!​
