But going inside is something totally amazing. There is sooo much to look at & it's very well arranged. Not your typical consignment store, but very well displayed. Staff are great & helpful, a Mom & daughter team. Elaine (Mom) also perform chalk paint miracles bringing old furniture back to life. You could go several times & still see things you didn't before. Consignors bring different items all the time. Prices are good & will work with you, even have layaway. Both stores across from each other are a good experience to go & shop & visit. John found a Richard Scarry children's book in French and quickly called his sister to see if she wanted it for our niece. Next find was a Boy scout handbook from dad's childhood! I found some sweet bells, but when I spotted the giant jug under a table I held my breath as I turned it over and saw the name Dover- Seagrove! The tag was labeled as such- 1987 Seagrove pottery- score! I snapped pictures and took the jug home too- already sent photos to my friends in Seagrove, I know the family studio it was made in! How cool- to find it in Brunswick, Ga! Great prices too- John and I both bought from the same booth!!!

This is one of those old tyme antique shops that you don't want to blow by when traveling through…read morethe area. I actually made a u-turn after passing it and I'm so glad I did. This place is filled with treasures and the owners are about as friendly as you'll ever find and if you find something you like and the odds are you will let your pocket full of sweaty cash help you negotiate a deal. I found a few pieces I knew I was taking home with me and I was hoping they wanted to sell them as bad as I wanted to buy them and at the end of the day I was loading them in my truck. There are some outstanding collectibles here and it's pretty apparent the owner has an eye for filling this shop full of things that's worth stopping in to look at. This is the type of shop I love to walk through, these types of places are becoming more rare everyday and it such a refreshing break from the "antique malls" filled with polished glass and locked displays. If you visit any of the shops in the area save some time and money and spend sometime with these folks...
