I need to put some more time in it tomorrow after the carpet dries. Then I observed his cleaning in the family room. Once again it's my opinion but slamming the the wand into the baseboards lent to the impression that speed creates a cavalier attitude as to customer's belongings. I don't think I am being harsh as prior to arrival my wife and I had moved almost complete furnishings to make the process easier. Josh can call when he returns from Alabama if he wishes.

We have one large unit servicing 3200 sq.ft. of a two story house. When I made the service call, it was after lunch, and I received an apology because they couldn't make it out that same day. With the heat wave, I didn't expect to be scheduled the next day. The service tech, Clarence, called first thing the next morning, and arrived about 10 minutes afterward. After inspection, I was advised of my options. The system was low on refrigerant, and I opted to have that, and a leak seal kit added. The system took 4.5 lbs. of new refrigerant. As that was completed, he inspected the inside evaporator, and all 7 air returns. Although the evaporator was clean, and the unit well sealed in the attic, he found my air filters to be too dirty. I regularly date and change my filters, but he found each one was a month past the change date, and filthy. Clarence was very professional, knowledgable, and efficient with his work. He wore little booties on his shoes to protect the hardwoods without being asked. The experience was one of "service". Highly sought, but often lacking with many contractors. Not only will they be servicing our 3 year old home from now on, I recommend Southern Comfort to anyone wanting to find their HVAC problem, and get it corrected without any anxiety or stress.

So I've been with Greenbox for the past 6 years as part of their maintenance plan. I've had a few…read morequeries here and there but overall, it's been a good experience. But this review is based on their plumbing inspection that I got done on 4/23/25. Mind you, I'd never taken advantage of this free service, which is part of my maintenance plan. But recently, a friend had to spend a bunch of $$$ for backed-up sewerage lines and that's what propelled me to get this done, While scheduling, I was told that the inspection would take minimum 45 mins- max an hour if all went smoothly. So usually, Greenbox is great about emailing you a reminder a day before, and then sending a text message with the tech's details on the day of their visit. And the tech also texts you when he is 5-15 mins away to inform you of his impending arrival. I did get a confirmation email but that was it. My inspection window was 12pm-5pm... "R" showed up around 11:50am which wasn't a big deal but I received no text message, no email, nothing. He was wearing shoe covers which I highly appreciated, until he walked in and I saw streaks on the floor :/ Anyway, he started from the kitchen, went through 3 bathrooms and the water heater... all under 10 mins!!!! I kid you not! He literally just opened up the faucets, peeked inside the cabinets below and that's it! He then said he'll send me a few "suggestions" because I should replace my water heater soon.. not that there is an issue but because generally, the life is only 10-15 yrs and all. He then sat in his van for much longer than he was inside my house!!! And I still did not get any email from his, nor a $0 invoice for my records. I then checked up with 2 friends who'd gotten such inspections conducted recently and I found out that their main lines were checked along with sewerage system etc. Nothing like that was done at my place.
