Featuring a blend of different cultural traditions and fully bilingual events, this wedding had a lot of moving parts! With Unruffled as our Month-Of Coordinators, everything came off perfectly. We had the pleasure of working with both Emily and Kritzie in our planning sessions. Kritzie, Genesis, and Robert took care of us on the big day. The Unruffled team could not have been more thoughtful, patient, accommodating, and attentive. From the welcome questionnaire to the planning meetings to the site visits to the rehearsal to the wedding day itself, they were not only organized and helpful, but a very calming presence. Their deep attention to detail allowed us to trust that everything big and small would get taken care of, and everything indeed came out perfectly. Because Kritzie and Emily really took the time to get to know us, they were able to make many helpful suggestions throughout the planning process (and during the wedding day itself) that perfectly aligned with and complemented our vision for the event. Kritzie did a great job working with our other vendors, including our reception venue, where we were the first wedding they ever held. On the wedding day, Kritzie and Genesis kept everything moving smoothly without being intrusive at all. We were able to really enjoy our wedding because we knew they had everything well in hand. Robert took amazing video of our private Tea Ceremony (before the professional videographer arrived), and was on top of troubleshooting any minor hiccups throughout the day (clutch job quickly fixing the cocktail hour speaker!). Our families, the church, the reception venue, and our vendors also uniformly (and completely unprompted!) told us that Kritzie and the whole team were the best wedding coordinators that they had ever worked with - high praise indeed! We consider ourselves lucky to have worked with Kritzie, Emily, Genesis, and Robert. Hiring Veronica for our wedding as our Day of Coordinator was the best decision that we made during…read morethe 27-month wedding planning process. From the moment I spoke with her, I could tell that she was someone I could trust to make sure that our day was amazing. I am a perfectionist to a fault, and I had very specific ideas and needs for the wedding. I was worried that I wouldn't find someone who could do as good a job as I could with organization, delegation, and accuracy. But she remembered every single detail. She also handled some larger issues - such as helping me with the shuttles. We needed shuttles for 130 people to leave the venue at essentially the same time - and I could not find a 3rd shuttle. She was able to book me an additional coach bus within 4 days of the wedding - that honestly saved the day. I also asked her to come to the florist with us so she could see our 'vision', since it was a bit more than just putting flowers on tables. When I arrived at the venue, I saw that she took our vision and made it even better! She added touches of gold and lights and greenery in places I didn't think to decorate, and it looked amazing. She was with me the entire night, keeping the sleeves of my dress from falling, helping me with eyedrops when I couldn't see, and constantly checking in with our band, maître d', and photographers to make sure everything was running smoothly. She got us through the mid-reception family photos (which I thought would be a disaster time-wise) so quickly, and was truly managing the time for the entire night. All of the vendors raved about her, and said her communication and precision was impeccable - and that she had great improvisation skills for whenever things did go a bit astray. I didn't have to worry about anything the entire evening, and that was the best feeling ever. Veronica is great at what she does - which is making sure your day is amazing. She is professional, great at communication, and she makes you feel safe. You can trust her completely, and know that your day will be in the best hands possible.

A short list of everything they did included: meeting with us by phone multiple times in the months leading up to our wedding; helping us create our day-of timeline; coordinated with all of our vendors in the final month before our wedding; transporting items to and from our venue on the day of; setting up centerpieces and other items; running back to our hotel when I forgot my dress socks and watch; and who knows what else behind-the-scenes! The amount of stress that Amanda and Andi lifted off of our shoulders was immeasurable and invaluable; we could not have had such a successful day without them! They somehow manage to do it all without us having to worry at all about hiccups, snafus, or drama of any kind. While she wasn't exactly what I was looking for, she was EXACTLY what I needed to get through my daughter's first birthday. Yvonne and her crew were BEYOND what I envisioned. They were so helpful and executed everything I wanted to the T and more. They managed my OCD extremely well and gave so many beautiful add ons and extras that I truly know my party would've lacked without her expertise and help. I miss connecting with Yvonne now, but I know that we'll get together for another party soon. :)

I am pretty upset that even with Covid canceling my wedding that the owner of MIA Party Creations…read moredidn't have a heart to give back my $500 deposit. I came to her in September 2019, my wedding was suppose to be June 28th 2020. The INVOICE says non refundable. But due to Covid 19 which was out of my hands and out of hers - she didn't have a heart to give back my deposit. Every other vendor gave back all deposits without even a blink of an eye because Covid was effecting everyone. Covid was an "act of god". When I had a conversation with the owner I was called "hunny" and was belittled and felt she was being condescending. She continued to make remarks such as "time is money sweetie" "let's not get it twisted I'm done here" and states the following: "ok np as ypi said you will not neededing about services by your choice not ours so ypu officially have canceled our non- refundable contract" Canceling the non refundable contract when I was having a conversation about finances and how I don't have any future events planned. She stated I could use the $500 on a future event, but with the hole Covid has put me in even year later I couldn't even fathom spending money on a party when I loose sleep at night how I am going to put food on the table for my children. I shouldn't have to either loose my $500 OR have to spend more money in the future to use up that $500. Even when I have tried to think of another party to use it up i contacted her about using the $500 she wanted me to pay an additional $300 towards a service because her pricing has went up. I have even helped her with projects and crafts for her events in the past. I considered her a crafty knowledgeable friend. In our conversation via text she even went out of her way to put down the projects I have went out of my way for her in the past: Stating: "The t shirts you made the letters fell apart" "No one really cared for for them" She came to me I went to her vise versa.for ideas and crafts. I feel very upset that she couldn't see Covid as an act of god and she keeps referring to her "invoice" that states no refunds applicable on deposit payment". No one asked for Covid or their dream wedding to be canceled in order to keep loved ones safe. I had to accept that my wedding HAD to cancel. I am IN HOPES that Mia Party Creation can come to an agreement.

I actually had to stop her from reprinting dinner menus because she didn't like the quality of the paper it was printed on. She will be bridezilla on your behalf so you don't have to be! The speed Ashley worked at to get everything in order was amazing!! Because of Ashley's connections I got an amazing deal on my rentals (tables, linens, charger plates). She managed all the contracts, rentals, timeline, guest list, COVID regulations, all vendors, all the last minute disasters (and there were plenty). Due to COVID Delta Variant my guest list was decreasing by the day. Ashley adjusted my rentals, seating chart along with per person cost on a daily basis. My hair stylist cancelled on me the night before, the menu printing was delayed due to a storm the night before, the cake was delayed. A bride's worst nightmare!! Ashley worked all night.. to get me newly printed menus, stood outside a salon to get hair extensions, called around cake places to get a new quote under my budget ...and then somehow this crazy woman managed to stay until 3am the night of my wedding to sure everything was in order and my vendors cleaned out. Trust me when I say this the number of things that will go wrong no matter how much you plan is crazy...this is where a wedding planner is a life saver. Not just any wedding planner but a one that is willing to go the extra mile! I had spoken to wedding planners who charge by the hour. Trust me when I say this please hire someone who is willing to work around the clock and a personality you get along with! She was also so sweet and helped me out with an event I was having prior to my wedding which was not included in our contract. When I say this woman goes above and beyond I meant it. She was worth every penny!! Ashley was always focused on my needs. I can't thank her enough because of her I was able to relax and enjoy my my wedding!!

She has a true gift for capturing your love story and told it so beautifully on our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for more - everyone told us that ours was the BEST wedding ceremony they have ever been to, so unique, so sweet and so special. And they also learned more about us as a couple (ie. we are super competitive when it comes to our board games, haha!).
