The nachos were very flavorful with various toppings. I believe the beer cheese, green chilies, pico and guac was a good combo with the seasoned steak. Overall great experience with the wait staff that served us. Late Lunch was a good pace to customers coming in and out.

I get that it's a smaller family-run establishment, but black smudges on most of the towels are a little unsettling. The big red flag for me, however, was that the door had no working deadbolt, nor was there a chain/bar to prevent the door from being forced open. Maybe I'm just paranoid from having stayed in places where crime is a concern, but I consider a working deadbolt and/or a chain to be "standard equipment" at a hotel room and I have never stayed somewhere that didn't have one of those. Other than that, the room was fine. A/C was cold, water hot, internet fast. Really didn't like how far from the bed the nearest power outlet was, especially with cell phones being standard equipment nowadays. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but for my purposes (a traveler passing through who originally planned to camp, but sites were expensive), it was fine.
