I picked it up before taking to get altered, and the owner brought the dress to my car, saying she didn't want me to put wrinkles in it. I got to the alterations place and realized there were stains on the inside of the dress that were not there when I dropped it off to be cleaned. I called and explained this to the owner, who then claimed the stains were there when she received the dress and that she couldn't get them out. (They were in fact NOT there when I dropped it off, and if that were the case, why would she not say anything to me when I picked up the dress?) Now realizing the whole reason she walked the dress out to the car for me was because she didn't not want me to see the dress, I drove back to her business and demanded a refund. The full amount was $180, but she then refused to refund me the full amount, and took twenty dollars off for a shawl part of the dress that was detachable- which was NOT a separate charge on the receipt, but was included in the $180. This laundromat is really clean, and I even watched one employee cleaning the blinds! So many laundromats take a card now for each machine. I can still use quarters at Mary's, which I prefer. I would recommend this place, and will be using Mary's until our assignment in Elkins is finished.
