Went here for dinner last night...atmospheric (ie dimly lit), bar and lively music to the right, dining room and (very good) music to the left...even as a twosome the took us to a roomy cubicle so you could sit side by side...that doesn't happen so often...very good staff all evening by the way, and of course excellent English
Ordered beef Rydberg....get rid of the raw yolk and there's a plate of fabulously tender beef, it really was, little cubed sautées and horseradish to blow your head off in a creamy sort of way. Seriously excellent. Washed down with an Australian Shiraz...very good, though of course being Sweden at an exorbitant price, around 3 times Vivino. When asked by the waiter if she wanted anything else, she said more of the beef...jokingly...but he said you should have said, no problem. Think he was serious too
What let it down...desserts...4 fancy ones, mango sorbet and 2 ice creams...so we got double espressos and a little cold chocolate truffle...yum
What else was good...well if you like cocktails or after dinner drinks, look no further...I can vouch for the grappa
