Do not go here if you value your time. Expect to wait 30mins-1hour, even with an appointment…read more Similar reviews tell the same story. It's tough to find a good barbershop, so when I found headlines on Yelp I was hopeful. I've been to headlines 3 times. #1. I called prior asking if they took walk-ins. The person on the call said yes, so I dropped by in person the next day. The shop was closed, even though it's hours were listed as open on Yelp and Google. I waited for 30 minutes until I saw someone open the front door. It was Mike the barber. He told me that he's booked until noon, and that I needed to make an appointment with him. I took this encounter as a mistake on my part and assumed that it was my poor communication (they said they'd take walk ins but never specified that it was anytime). I made an appointment with Mike for another time. #2. I arrived right on appointment time. The shop was closed. Nobody was there. I waited again for 10 minutes until Mike showed up. Then he had to leave for a family emergency (which I completely understand). I waited for an hour before he came back. Mike's comprehension and communication was lacking. I asked for a dropback (i.e. a medium taper on the sides down to a low taper on the back). Mike listened to what I said and assumed I just wanted a combover. Mike ended up giving me a low taper all around. He didn't even look at the pictures I showed him. Don't get me wrong, Mike did a great job. But it wasn't the job I had asked for. #3. I assumed both previous times were lapses in my communication. I gave it one more shot. I arrived at the barbershop and tried to open the door. Again it was closed. I waited 5-10 minutes because that's the polite thing to do. Then I texted Mike. He told me he had left the shop because he did not see me at the appointment time. Then I knew that the communication issues were not my fault. Any person with common sense would text, "Hey where are you" if someone was not there at the exact time. Or wait 5-10 minutes for politeness. But perhaps this courtesy is another cultural difference. I texted Mike feedback regarding his inability to be on time. He did not take feedback well and told me that he knew how to ran his own business. Mike. I get it. I'm just one of your many many customers. However, if you can take something from this encounter, it's: 1. Communication is key. Please make sure that you're on the same page with your client both regarding the haircut and your timeliness. 2. Feedback is essential. As we're all working adults, there's no school to teach us. The only things that can teach us are our interactions with others. Try to be receptive of feedback. That being said, I do NOT recommend this shop. Do not go here if you value your time.

Not too sure if this place is open or not on Sundays because on google it says it is but on here it…read moredoesn't. Anyways, my boyfriend has tried getting his hair cut twice on Sundays because that's the only time he's not working. The first time they told him they aren't accepting anyone and the second time (today) he waited about 10-15mins before anyone said anything to him saying they aren't cutting anybody else's hair. It would just be common curtesy to let someone know ONCE they walk in to let them know "hey, we aren't accepting walk ins today" instead of having him wait there and then finally letting him know. This is the last time he is attempting to get his hair cut here.

I'veSo I looked into the barbers in Odessa and came across Clippers men's cuts. I called and made an appointment and was seen the same day. No long wait and a barber was ready for me. Natalie was my barber and she right off the bat she asked all the right questions before starting so she would know exactly what I wanted. She was very friendly and gentle with my head and hair. (Some stylists are pretty rough!) I had a great experience. They also do beard trimming and shaves. If you want a great haircut with out the store chain drama, go see Natalie and the staff at Clippers.

Not impressed at all and will never go back again. So here's the deal my regular barber is booked…read moresolid for a month straight so out of necessity I had to find a place to get my hair cut so I decided to try this place out. I am an old fashioned kind of guy that's likes my hair to look like that of a respectable man not a teenager so I asked for my regular cut, now I know I won't get the quality cut my barber usually does but instead I got nothing like it. I've had my hair cut at tons of places in my life time (40yr old) and never has anyone given me a military type cut with what I have always asked for. I told the stupid girl to just trim my bangs and feather it in instead she just took everything off and then when I told her that I usually comb my hair back and to the side then she said "how do you do that?" And that's when I looked in the mirror and after I asked her why she cut it all off in front she said, "oh that's right you said leave the trim the bangs and feather it in, MY BAD" I was like just finish and l paid her and walked out. And that's while she was giving me a ugly look as to why I left her no tip! I ain't tipping for a cut I didn't ask for, and that's cause I always tip and I tip well. Never will I return to this place
